We're from California where there are literally 20 amazing sushi places in every city. I'm shocked that this is one of the best sushi restaurants that I've ever been to in terms of both ingredient quality and execution. Think of your favorite neighborhood sushi place...this is better. Enjoy, you've found a gem.

This was a great experience the food was awesome. The waitress was really nice and super informative. The AI DJ was great the location was awesome the only thing that was an issue was the tables not sturdy. Kept moving but otherwise great experience.

Tried out this new restaurant in Orlando, on our way passing through and we hit the jackpot! The food was delicious, the staff were very friendly and warm. We started with the milk tea, we tried the Taro, brown sugar and mango, THE BEST boba I have EVER tried, and the mango flavored chewy boba we're chefs kiss! Everything we ordered was delicious and had a beautiful presentation! Wish I lived closer, this would be my go to place to eat! We also tried the sweet potato roll, tuna tataki, and some nigiri all were delicious! The owner was singing some pretty classic songs, made the ambiance fun and nostalgic. If you live around here or just passing by, don't sleep on this place, you gotta check it out!!

Friendly service and fresh sushi that was wonderfully presented. Not super expensive for the fresh quality sushi. I would definitely come here again!

A good place to be in if you like Japanese bar food…read more The decors were composed of a ton of old Japanese advertisements. They had interesting seating arrangements, like bars and window seating can only be sit by parties of two. Getting a space was not easy. Hostess was kind and helpful. Food: fried chicken was a bit dry. Not the Japanese crunchy puffy shell kind. Not bad. Yakitoris are all excellent! Nothing to complain. We ordered everything on the menu. All are good. All cooked to American perfection. Gyoza was good. Nothing to write home about. Ramen: tonkusut black was excellent. Broth was done with time. Tori was good. Also thick broth! Would definitely come back again.

We almost always have Asuka as our server, and she's seriously the sweetest. She's always so welcoming and somehow always recommends something that ends up becoming a new favorite. They've added more ramen to the menu since my last review, and the Tan Tan ramen has quickly become one of my favorites. The spicy sesame peanut broth is rich, flavorful, and has just the right amount of heat. If I'm not in the mood for ramen, I always go with the shiso butter yaki onigiri with a side of pork chashu. They torch the butter right at your table, which is such a fun touch, and it smells incredible. The mentaiko fries are still a must order every single visit, and for dessert you can't skip the matcha tiramisu or the taro ice cream with the hot green tea. The ramen, grilled meats, addicting appetizers, fun drinks, awesome atmosphere, and consistently amazing staff are exactly why I keep coming back. Easily one of my favorite spots in Orlando.

The biggest disappointment was the meat selection. The premium menu had a limited variety of cuts, and several of them looked and tasted like lower quality scrap pieces rather than premium cuts. The marinades were flavorful, but the quality of the beef didn't match the price point. We also brought our 10 year old and 6 year old, and neither of them enjoyed it very much. They ended up eating far less than we expected, which made the kids' AYCE price harder to justify as well. That said, the experience itself was enjoyable. Cooking your own food at the table is always fun, the restaurant was clean, and our server was excellent. The service was attentive, friendly, and our orders came out quickly throughout the meal. I'd still recommend Gyu Kaku, but I'd skip the Premium All You Can Eat. I'd rather order individual dishes or try one of the lower priced options instead. For nearly $300 for a family of five, I expected noticeably better meat quality and a wider selection. The service was the highlight of our visit.

We sat at the bar, where the chef was meticulously preparing sushi rolls and sashimi. We spoke with a woman there who said she had travelled all over the place and had just come back from Vegas and this was the best sushi she'd ever had. It was certainly the best sushi I have ever had. The fish was so fresh- you can see it in coolers when you walk in and you can tell just by looking at it how high quality it is. The Toro tuna roll practically melted in my mouth- it was so good. The crab and Akami rolls were also favorites. Unlike a lot of restaurants these days, which pack people in like sardines, making it loud and overwhelming. Mosonori felt like an intimate and personal experience. The food was so good and the ambience so inviting- I never wanted it to end. I will be returning and cannot recommend this restaurant enough!

There honestly weren't many sushi options in the area, but this place looked promising and they were able to seat the two of us right away, so we decided to give it a try. The atmosphere was really nice -- modern, chic, and cozy with a long sushi bar counter. We both ordered the 5-piece temaki set and everything tasted very fresh and well prepared. The yellowtail and Japanese cod were especially standout pieces for me. Service was also prompt and friendly, and the food came out quickly. Overall, we had a really great experience. The quality of the food, atmosphere, and service made the price feel very reasonable. I would definitely come back if I'm in the area again.
