I got my sewing machine for Christmas and tried watching many youtube videos and couldn't get the hang of it. This class taught me on how to use my machine, the different types of needles, and fabrics we can use. I didn't know any of this stuff before taking this class, and didn't think it would be such an in-depth class but glad it was because it was super informative and now I feel super comfortable with my machine now. I will be signing up for more classes in the future with Eva! She was an amazing instructor!

Instead of helping, the older man and woman running the store were condescending, rude, and outright dismissive. They belittled her, treated her horribly, and then chased her out of the store telling her to "go elsewhere." This wasn't at closing time -- it was broad daylight, and the store was open. My girlfriend is one of the sweetest, most soft-spoken people you'll ever meet. For her to come back to the car in tears says everything about how cruel and unnecessary their behavior was. This is the exact reason people are abandoning small retailers for online shopping not to mention the cost savings. When you treat customers with contempt, you lose them forever. Sewfisticated should be ashamed, and I can't imagine this kind of service keeping them in business much longer.

Instead, Garment D. Is Organized, spotless and straight-up vibey. Two full floors to roam. Hot-pink walls, black-and-white checkerboard floors like stepping into an 80s music video. It's quirky, loud and proudly vintage. Everything's sorted with precision: pants with pants, denim with denim, tops with tops. These folks don't play around. And yeah, the majority of the clothing here is all use. But like I always do- I buy my stuff, take it home (or the cleaners), wash it and it snaps back looking like new. By the way- they do carry some new items- as in not used as well. My daughter and I bought some vintage denims, sweaters and a few other things. Zero mess. Zero stress. 100% unexpected.

I've gone to this store over the years and I went in today looking to use a store credit to buy a…read morebracelet. i was told rudely that I couldn't use it, no exceptions. I had asked about the types of stones for a few bracelets I was interested in and they replied with "I don't know.". lastly as I was leaving the store, the girl raised her voice for me to stop and said ." hey you are wearing our bracelets!" and started walking towards me. at which point I turned around and held up my wrist. she was correct, i was wearing two bodhi seed bracelets WHICH WERE MINE. I walked into the store with them on as I OWN them. to the store owners: take caution with your accusatory tone of voice before you mistakenly accuse someone of shoplifting.
