Not only was she kind and SO fun to chat with but she took her time when doing my (admittedly super short) nails to make them look as natural as possible. She helped me pick a gorgeous periwinkle blue for the summer, too! I have finally found a nail place that I love! I go to Marissa and I can't say enough about her!! My nails have always peeled up around the edges and came off within a week no matter if they were a new set or not and Marissa's-they still look perfect after 2-3 weeks! I came to Oscar Nail Spa for a mani-pedi with my sister and could not have left more satisfied with my experience. The service and hospitality were excellent, we were both helped and offered drinks right away, all the staff were incredibly friendly, and the space is beautifully designed and clean. The place itself is nice and most of the staff was welcoming but i had a terrible set of nails from there. Not all nails were fully painted, when i pointed this out I was told that that if the whole nail was painted it would look too wide. But the ones that weren't painted varied from hand to hand. My nail tech didn't take the time to file well so I didn't get the shape I asked for and I have a clump of acrylic under my index nail. The polish has bubbles in it. I can also see the polish that I was wearing when I went in on a few nails. She also mentioned several times that I should have gotten shellac and they would have looked better. But shouldn't you be able to use regular polish to make a set of nails look good? I waited a day to post so the pics are the day after, not even 24 hrs later. She just didn't seem to want to take the time to do a good job and she didn't want to hear that I wasn't happy with my nails. This was supposed to be a treat and it wasnt cheap. If I pay 30 dollars for a full set I at least expect my nail tech to know how to paint a nail. I won't be back. read more

I really wanted a change from my normal place. I went in for a mani and pedi. The pedicure was great and polish lasted for a few weeks. The manicure was horrible. I had a clear coat of paint. When dry, it was tacky. Peeled off within a day. My cuticles looked the same as they did when I went in. I just expected more. read more

My daughter was getting married so 19 of us girls went to Oscar's to get our pedicure and manicure. I had decided I was going to pay for my daughter (the bride) and 5 other girls. I gave the gentleman (who I believe is the owner) our 13 slips of paper with the amount on them. I had asked for the slips back so I could give all the girls that had done a service a tip. We left. About a half hour later I received a message from one of the bridesmaids that she was asked to pay for 2 services that the gentleman had forgotten to ring up. I asked her to give me the phone. The gentleman told me he had forgotten to ring up 2 of the slips and I would have to drive back in to Lincoln to pay him. Not being my fault, and I was busy I told him I could not do that. He then told me I would have to pay over the phone. I was VERY upset and disappointed that he was calling me for this reason. We had spent well over $1,000 and I was to pay him. It was his mistake. I felt he should have eaten the $60 and let it go since he was the one that neglected the charge. I will not be going there again. VERY poor customer service. read more

This place is great! Everyone was very friendly and did a really good job of getting me in right away. The price was kind of expensive but it was definitely worth it! It did seem kind of rushed as if they were trying to rush me out the door even though they weren't busy. So I had to take a star off for that, but otherwise it was a great experience. read more

I was so excited to find a nail salon with high ratings so I made an appointment while visiting Lincoln. Lihn did a shellac manicure. My nails had finally gotten to a point where they were strong and in great condition. Lihn filed my nails with a rough file. I kept telling her not to file so much but she was training someone and not listening to me. She kept filing down the top layer which left my previously strong nails, weak and bendable. She filed the whole nail down to next to nothing. They are sensitive and I still can't grab or pull on anything without them bending. I am so disappointed and angry. I do not suggest you go to her. The nail salon is nice and clean so if you do make an appointment, don't go to her for shellac. read more

Extremely friendly staff, on phone and in person. Rosie was extremely attentive and welcoming for my first time at the salon. :) She was very personable, helpful, and did my pedicure and acrylic nails pain free and didn't over file my nails. My acrylic tips looked really natural. All the staff was very quiet and focused on the customers I observed. The regular pedicure package is wonderful and I'm sure the higher pedicure services are quite wonderful as well from what I saw of others receiving. The shop is very clean, organized, and from the looks well taken care of. I read another review saying they didn't have hot water in the pedicure tubs but my water was filled in front of me and was perfect! They also took care of my husband an made him comfortable as he had never had a professional pedi and mani before. Will be coming back and become a regular here since I hadn't been impressed by many nail salons in Lincoln until now. read more

I'm always trying to find a great nail salon & this one met all of my expectations, from walking in the door as a first time customer, to leaving. I was so impressed by how they use the liners for the tubs. Not sure why other nail salons can't use these to be sanitary. I will definitely be back for more pedis with Kim, as she was so attentive & kind! read more
