She was very patient and helpful. All questions and care quality were answered and received in an expeditious manner. And she went out of her way to help me with a medical supply problem I've been having for months in regards to my daughter's diapers. When I asked the doctor she said all she can do was send another referral seemed by me asking I had annoyed her on top of the interrogating visit I had received, after I've been trying to call, contact and fix this on going issue for three months Vanessa saved me from future stress. So thank you again Vanessa (and the male nurse I didn't catch his name) my daughter and I greatly appreciate your kindness. Sometimes it's the little gestures of kindness, coming from a special needs mom that makes our lives easier. We don't need unnecessary stress build up if the problem can be fixed by a simple call or email sent to the medical supply company that is contracted through you Via Care. People have to wait outside and there is dog and bird poop everywhere on the sidewalk. The parking lot is full of potholes which are dangerous for older patients who use canes and walkers. Secondly, the wait time is ridiculous. You have an appointment for a specific time but you are never seen on time. The last time I was here I had a 9am appointment. I was called into the room at 9:15am but wasn't seen by the doctor for another 50 minutes. They keep timers outside each room to time how long a patient had been waiting. Every room was over 40 minutes and I even overheard one of the Drs mention that patients were getting upset by the wait. It's ridiculous and I'm ready to move on to another provider which is unfortunate because I really do like the staff and Dr Rivera since they know our family so well.

She did go to a specialist, but towards the end, it was Dr.Sim who took care of her needs. Every time I go to see him, I thank him for the great care he took of my mom and my dad. My mom passed away in February 2025. As things got more difficult, I appreciated that my sister or I just had to call Dr. Sim, tell him what was going on, and he would call in an appropriate medication. I also need to add that he is my trusted physician. I have several medical issues. He has guided me to the correct specialist if it is something that he feels would be better cared for in that realm. When I had something that would not go away back in 2021, he was the first to tell me my symptoms sounded like Rhumationd Arthritis. I went to a specialist for autoimmune issues. The physician, after several tests, concluded the same thing. Dr. Sim is very intelligent. I am so glad that someone like him is nearby my home. My husband sees him. My oldest son sees him. We all know we are getting the best of care with him.

Got seen around 6:08p and left at 6:35p NP Sharon was quick but made sure I felt heard The nurse assisting was Kiki, extremely sweet and moved quickly Both had great bedside manners and were quick. I didn't feel rushed out, they just worked fast. Got my injections and prescription sent out within half an hour. Yes, the area is a bit sketchy, but it's Southeast LA so it's a given (I am local). No comment on cost as I have Medi-Cal. Overall great experience! :)

Whenever I walk-in the staff know me and greet me by name which is rare in this day and age. The thing I appreciate most however is that Dr. Salama takes the time to listen to what I'm going through and working with me in creating a plan together instead of making me feel like just another appointment on his schedule. He takes the time explain things clearly, answer all of my questions without rushing, and makes sure I understand the next steps before I leave. He'll even check up on me from time to time to see how i'm doing, which I don't think any doctor has the time for anymore, but it meant a lot to me given some of my health conditions and showed how much he cared! This is a walk-in office so wait time vary based on the day / time you go, so best to call ahead to see how busy they are if you're on a time crunch. Other than that, they're an awesome team and clinic!
