I contracted Barton Carpets to replace the hardwood floors at my home after they suffered water damage. The owner, John Barton, went himself to my house to take the measures, provided a competitive quote and a reasonable finance plan. John spoke highly about his installers, to which honestly I did not pay much attention to at that time. They ordered the material and called me to set a convenient date to start the work. On the day they were supposed to start (Thursday), Endrigo (Barton's installer) showed up at 7:30AM and introduced himself in a courteous way. I explained to Endrigo that I was leaving on vacation on Saturday morning so I needed for him to finish by Friday. Endrigo started his work right away. I was amazed that even during demolition Endrigo was constantly cleaning the area and by noon the demolition process was over. To my surprise he managed to keep the house relatively clean. Endrigo worked through lunch non-stop until 9pm. At the endo of that day the first floor was 98% done and they started demolition on the second floor. The second day Endrigo showed up again at 7:30 am (how many vendors do you know that start this early ) and started right away. I saw him working through lunch again, offered sandwiches but all he ate was a banana while working. By 9pm the work was 98% complete, and he would have finished it but there was some more material that needed to be ordered. At 9PM I saw Endrigo cleaning and positioning the furniture where it was, I could not believe it. They left on Friday around 10PM and they did an awesome job, beautiful floors perfectly installed, he even provided advice about how to clean the floor. I recently moved into a house that needed to be completely redone. The floors were just a mess. The tile in the kitchen was lifted and cracked all over and the carpets were stained with who knows what! I did a little research to figure out where the best place would be to purchase new carpet and tile flooring for my house. I stumbled across Barton's and decided to go check out what they had to offer. As soon as I walked into the place I felt like I had already made the right decision. Barton's has a well organized display room with a giant warehouse full of remnants, rolls, wood flooring, and laminate flooring. The owner of the store, John, walked me around the store showing me the endless amount of products they offer. I found a flooring for my kitchen, bedrooms and living room at an affordable price thanks to Barton's. Since the carpet I ordered was a special order it came to Barton's within a couple of days and was installed into my house the next. The installers were very friendly and hardworking. They vacuumed and cleaned up all the scraps when they were finished and made sure I had a chance to look over the job that they had completed. Its been a few weeks since the job was been completed and the carpet and tile flooring are holding up great. I highly recommend Barton Carpets and Floor Covering! I have been a Customer of Barton Carpets before. I first had carpet put in my home. Jerry showed up at my home first thing in the morning and had the job completed before lunch. Carpet is still in great shape and I was so pleased with this company from my past experience so I decided to go back to Barton's for some hardwood for my living room and vinyl for my kitchen. The salesperson, Joe, was absolutely great. He helped me decide from so many choices. They came out to my house to measure and advised what would work well with all my animals and foot traffic. I shopped around and was happy to find out they were the best price for the goods I picked out. Didn't hurt they have been the most friendly to me neither. Everything was scheduled and I was told they would be there in the morning the day of the install. The guys showed up early and completed the hardwood and vinyl within two days. The installers were gentlemen and the job turned out great!! I recommend them because they completed a great job and they understood what I wanted from the beginning. I am also a realist, I understand that every company may have an issue every now and then but they have handled everything with nothing but professionalism. Thanks everyone for another job well done. My experience wth Barton was amazing from start to finish. My salemen Kevin was great, knowledgable, and didn't push anything on me. After a couple other quotes, I ordered my carpet with Barton as they were signifigantly lower then the compitition for a higher grade carpet. I went with midline carpet and high end padding. After a couple days I called to ask about upgrading to the high end carpet. Kevin was honest and told me that the carpet I selected was very good, but that it was up to me. I choose to go higher on my own. Glad I did, because my carpet looks and feels amazing. The installers were one time, infact they were 10 minutes early. They were polite, neat, and quick. I would recommend Barton to anyone. I've actually already told several people who all loved our new carpets to give them a call for their flooring needs. Thanks Barton. I needed carpet for three rooms and stairs; and vinyl in the bathroom. Price and quality were my biggest concern. I shopped around at four different flooring places and each sales person had their own spiel as to why they had the best quality. I learned a lot (maybe too much) and found that quality was all pretty similar depending on what you wanted to spend. In the end, Barton's Carpet beat the price of the three others. Their staff was very nice and easy to deal with also. I didn't feel pressured, which I liked. The owner, John, was very hands on. Tom, the installer, came with his crew and they seemed very knowledgeable. Tom even helped with an additional little flooring issue. The whole install process was fairly quick, smooth, and very clean. Most importantly, the floors looked great when completed. For the price, I would definitely recommend Barton's Carpet. read more

I am a contractor who has been using Barton Carpets for twenty plus years. What a great family business , it doesnt matter if you come in for your whole house or just one room they treat you like royalty the whole way. What inspired me to write this article was a recent comment I had seen and wanted to respond. I have my own customers and every once in a great while something fails. It could be shipping someone in my company has an emergency so they forgot to pass on some info etc. Lets face it we are all human and make mistakes. as long as we try to make things right and are truly humble , which it seems that they did by offering to give back their money and I am sure other options were also given knowing them the way I do, than there is no reason to publicly humiliate a company who has a proven track record of success. read more

The first of many! My wife and I needed new floors before the New Year so we did a little shopping around and luckily discovered Bartons. We were driving through Bellmawr and weren't planning on going there but glad we did. The place is stocked with inventory galore at unreal low prices and the customer service was wonderful. We were worried that because of the holidays, we wouldn't be able to get an install in time before New Years. Bartons was able to do it the day after Christmas! Two gentleman came out and did a great job. They vacuumed afterwards and answered any questions we had along the way. Came to Barton's with out a clue on what I was exactly looking for I just knew I needed a change in my downstairs living room and kitchen. As soon as I got there everyone was so friendly and helping, especially my sales person Matt, owners son I believe. I just recently had hard wood flooring installed by Barton's in my house and the job turned out wonderful. The sales person, John Foyle, was very knowledgeable about the different products. We went to Barton carpets to look for carpet and ceramic tile for our home. They had a wonderful selection at amazing prices! We had our living room, dining room, hallway, and stairs done in carpet and 2 bathrooms done in ceramic tile. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Barton is great and very reasonably priced! I've used them 3 times now and my carpets were perfect and put in very quickly. They have accommodated my crazy schedule and in emergency situations when my carpet was soaked because my washer over flowed they came out right away to help me fix it. Great people. Great prices.
