While the rental rates are reasonable, the hidden fees when returning equipment is uncalled for. I…read morerented a small utility trailer for about $20 for the day, which is fair. I used the online reservation service and that worked ok. When I was done, I returned the trailer after business hours and when through the online return process, again it functioned acceptably well. While completing the online return process, it assessed a $15 "cleaning fee." This was an open utility trailer, there's nothing to clean. Complaints to the business and parent company went unanswered. This nearly doubles the cost of the rental. Very disappointed in U-Haul.
