It was suggest by a friend but I had never been. The experience was wonderful! The entire staff was attentive to our party and there were other large parties there. I had the salmon salad and 2 espresso martinis, both were delicious. The food was so good we all sampled each others' - apple French toast, chicken biscuit with cheese grits, fries and the grilled PB&J. I should have ordered one of those to go. The coffee bar is quite large on the inside with two sides and a nice size bar. Matt, the owner, communicated with my friends to make sure everything para perfect for the shower. We got to meet his mom who was lovely as well. Tiny's is clearly a gathering spot for the community. It's worth the trip to Gary.

Very cute place, and the waitress was very attentive and gave us recommendations, came back often to check on us and refill our drinks. Lots of drink options, including cocktails, wine, beer, cider. I got a grapefruit radler which I don't see too often. Several yummy looking things in the menu, and vegetarian and gluten free options. I went with the recommendation of vegetarian fried rice, topped with a fried egg. My friend got the chips and guac and pork belly side. We both liked the food quite a bit! A great find! Lots of people were there, and there was live music which was a bit loud, but definitely recommend this spot.

They are only open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 1 - 6:45pm (or until they sell out). There is usually a line waiting when they open. Go hoping for a quick turnaround (maybe 20-30 minutes), but be prepared to wait for at least an hour). Today was my second time visiting. I got there around 4pm and only waited a few minutes to place my order. Please note that they do NOT accept credit cards. It's cash, cashapp or two other electronic transfer methods (sorry I can't remember exactly which ones). The owners are SUPER nice!!! I love them! They have a decent sized menu. The soul bowls are a tremendous value!!! For $14.50, you get your choice of protein--no pork--and three sides (greens, mac and cheese and sweet potato yams). For another $4, you can add on cornbread dressing. Today, I waited just under two hours for my order. You can sit in your car or leave if you need to and they text you when your order is ready. When I went in to get my order they had the sold-out sign up, so I encourage you to try to get there at least a couple hours before closing. Now to the food, it is amazing! The mac and cheese is probably the best restaurant mac and cheese I've ever had. It is cheesy with a nice crust. The sweet potatoes are sweet and delicious. The greens today were a little on the sweet side but it might have been sweet potato juice on it. I don't like sweet greens, but last time I had them they were perfect. My favorite dish is the cornbread dressing. Their food honestly tastes like it was made in my family's kitchen. Today I got the fried wings. Crunchy, juicy not greasy or overly salty. Got their Hennessy sauce on the side and yesssss!!!! The food is excellent! The there are as many cars from Illinois in the parking lot as from Indiana. I met a woman in the parking lot who said she drove 40 minutes to get there, waited two hours for her food and then had to drive home. Yes, the food is delicious! If you have a long drive consider finding a place to park and eat your food while it's hot. I strongly recommend!

The rib tips…read moreand grilled/smoke wings are it and are an unapologetically an intense flavor-packed experience that delivered on every level. Ribs are not just "cooked"-they were smoked to perfection, breaking down the tough connective tissue into succulent, melt-in-your-mouth bites. Each piece was exceptionally tender, yet held that signature bouncy, chewy resistance. There was zero dryness here--just pure, smoky collagen-rich tenderness that made the cartilage easy to navigate around. The flavor hit hard from the first bite. The seasoning blend was bold, with a perfect balance of herbs, creating a "low-and-slow" depth that permeated all the way through the meat. The magic, however, was the sauce--a tangy masterpiece with just enough sweet molasses to create a sticky, caramelized bark. The tanginess cut perfectly through the fatty richness of the pork, leaving a lingering, savory heat that keeps you reaching for another piece. I keep creeping up on Ember and Oak and each time, meat and fries consistently seasoned, prepared cooked with an abundance of love.

When we walked in there were a few people waiting so I said this has to be good. They do have a wide range of items. It is a take out place there isn't seating. I wanted the Turkey KTMB which is the signature item but they were out of turkey tips. I ordered the Build Your Own Combo with Fried chicken and chicken tips which came with fries with Wildwood. I also got spaghetti and Mac and cheese. My dad got the salmon burger with sweetwood on the fries. The Wings were very salty to a point that I couldn't finish the wing. The Fries and Chicken tips were very good and I really enjoyed the sauce. The spaghetti was good to me but I can see how some wouldn't enjoy it because it had a sweet sauce. The Mac and Cheese was not good to me. My dad enjoyed his Salmon Burger. He felt that his Fries were a little drowned in sauce. Price point I think it was a little over price as our meal cost about $85. I do still want to try the turkey tips Soon
