They called me back in a timely manner when I did have billing issues due to insurance switches and they also were just genuinely really nice whenever I spoke to them on the phone. I really liked my provider and was so sad when I had to switch because she actually listened to me and helped order tests to see if there was an underlying health issue causing my problems. I appreciated everyone who I worked with while I was there.

Their billing policies are absurd and make me feel completely disregarded, especially considering the technological challenges of navigating their new portal. People come here for help and are instead forced to deal with a complicated, confusing interface, and then callously told that they have to pay a lot of money if they don't get the technology right. Months ago I was held liable for a session when I had to reschedule inside the 24 hours required, yet I didn't get any kind of compensation when my new therapist canceled on me TWICE in two weeks AT THE LAST MINUTE. Now I am being charged $165 for barely missing my video meeting with my prescriber, when it was the first time I had used their cumbersome and confusing new system, which told me that my browser was not supported, and sent me scrambling at the last minute to figure out the tech as I was trying to log in. I even called the front desk to tell them that I was having trouble, and I kept getting voice mail. I requested that the charge be waived and I was sent an apologetic and "understanding" message from Billing, acknowledging the difficulty dealing with the new portal, but refusing to waive the fee. That is fucked up. I will not be paying that $165 and I will not be seeking services from RCC anymore. Their platform sucks and so do their policies. Find another therapist or therapy practice.....this place SUCKS.

He took on someone with multiple issues and due to his patience and willingness to wait until I was ready to open up and tell everything, he has literally saved my heart. When I came to him I was so broken, hurt, and in incredible pain. Today, I able to see things how the truly are and move forward with a healthy life. I never dreamed I could be in such a healthy, safe, and self progressive state. I would recommend him for abused women in particular. His insight, and the tools he has provided me have been so substantial that I honestly do not feel that I will not regress to that deep cold place that reminds me of the ugliness. Just some parts of my review - -my provider completely checked out of my care upon confirming her move out of the country. -the medication regimen I was on was causing extreme harm both mentally, as well as physically (developed liver issues as well as blood pressure issues) -i was taken off of 2 MAJOR medications, including Ketamine treatment at the same time, as well as told to abstain from alcohol (I am not an alcoholic, but there was definitely abuse there, sure) HOWEVER, she took me off of an anti seizure med and was worried I would have a seizure coming off of alcohol...? Oooookay dude. I was put in an insane place where I started to devolve mentally and physically. I lashed out to my provider via voicemail, bc I had not heard a WORD from her. There was no forward motion or any motivation on their part to get me back into Ketamine treatment, as well as not informing me of their move until the last second (which I ended up finding out from another former co-worker of hers. Her name is Abigail Smith, she is listed as an NP. LUCKILY anyone trying to enroll won't receive her care bc she's leaving, but the practice manager has backed her behavior, and discharged me from the practice after leaving said voicemail. I do not regret it in the least. I was and still am angry, distraught, sad, furious, you name it. However, I never threatened her, called her names, or made any threats to their office. I cussed a ton, sure, completely warrants their treatment of me. After my discharge from the practice, I was never informed. I was never called, texted, emailed, or even sent a letter. They sent an email to my partner who is on my HIPPA release forms. That was IT. I'm begging you to RUN from this place. I spent 6 years of my life here, and came the closest to ending said life than I ever had. What a fucking waste. The more than 4 medical professionals that I have since contacted/enrolled in care with are absolutely appalled and shocked at both the medication regimen I was receiving, as well as the treatment I received as a result. I am finally in very capable, and extremely concerned and caring hands now after a wild search after being left with limited meds upon my discharge. I was supposed to start back with Ketamine treatment soon, but DBH's practice NEVER took me out of their Spravto program, even through I stopped end of DEC, and left the practice in JAN. So, it's now been a 6 week delay at the minimum to continue that care. Run. Run to anyone but here. The staff are great, but the "care" from the provider(s) and their manager is a bloody joke. They couldn't have given less of a care if I had ended it. One less client to deal with, I guess. I'm starting to wonder what their body count is.

When requesting paperwork from medical records, it can take up to 30 days which is very inconvenient if you need it for something extremely important. There is absolutely no way to expedite the process. The psychiatrist I worked with was extremely helpful. She did the best she could with the resources she had. The therapist I had, wasn't a good fit, and I searched day by day for a new therapist, but they didn't have too many available options, considering my health insurance and the type of individual I was looking for. Thriveworks has a lot of rules set/policies for their workers. For example, if you plan on taking a leave of absence for work, the psychiatrist can only approve four weeks. If you are looking to get any sort of leave of absence, paperwork completed, I highly recommend to utilize your psychiatrist as your therapist cannot answer to or fill out certain, I learned the hard way. Your psychiatrist cannot speak to any sort of leave of absence until you have had for sessions with them. Thriveworks has been nothing but a headache for me, at one point, my therapist was doing more harm than good. Hence the reason for me searching for another.
