Dr Clouse and Stewart are first rate. They will help resolve whatever pains you are having. The reason for the low review? You need to be aware that the questionnaire you fill out in the waiting room is considered a "Psychological Evaluation". You will be charged $980 for this every year if you go back. In my case, it was never discussed with me. This evaluation costs more that the visit I went for. Just be cautious when you fill this out and aware that you will pay a lot for it. read more

Broke my foot, and here because they were able to get me in quickly for an x-ray and consultation. Everything was pretty fast, which I really appreciated. Very little wait time. I got to meet Dr Nilsen, who was very polite, honest and took his time with me. I didn't feel rushed at all. Shout out to the front staff and the x-ray technician/radiologist? I went to OSPI for knee pain . This practice gave me few options I donot want to get trial procedure which is not cover by insurance yet . So I told them to get gel injection. Their Dr s MA Told me that she needs to get prior orrhorization from my insurance Company , Eight weeks later just to found out when I called my insurance they have not done anything . In between I called there at least two to three times every week , in their office their MA Ms Davis is so busy did not even bother to call once , at least to let me know what going on ... read more

Dr. Clause did a hip replacement surgery on my father two weeks ago and I couldn't be more pleased with his experience. Dr. Clause is so approachable and honest but with an amazing bed side manner. He took his time to explain everything and never got impatient with our sometimes silly questions. Now we're two weeks postop and my father has had absolutely no complications and he's almost 80 years old. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Clause!!! Dr Clouse was just terrific! I'd been to a few other doctors for my knee problem (meniscus) but did not feel comfortable with what treatment they offered. Dr Clouse and staff all treated me kindly and professionally. His initial treatment was not surgical but tried to heal the knee with options besides surgery. When my knee did not improve enough, he did surgery and it was such a positive experience. He explained everything and it's been just over 2 months and I'm back to normal. Went to PT for a few weeks and now I'm pain free. I'm a Registered Nurse and I know good care when I see it. It's more than having good surgical skills - which Dr Clouse does - it's also having understanding, patience and being willing to work with patients. I'd highly recommend this practice. I went to the location in Queen Creek. I was blown away and very impressed with Dr. Clouse. His professionalism and attention to detail was exceptional! I had a bad experience and had been dealing with many knee issues. My prior ortho doctor was not very helpful, explanatory and did not guide me in healing. Dr. Clouse went above and beyond when examining me, having me do multiple tests, explaining everything in detail and going step-by-step with my issues, causes, and how we can resolve them. If I could give less than one star I would. One appointment, one evaluation, paid my co-pay, decided to not go forward with their treatment plan but received bills for psychological evaluation???? Never asked for this, never knew it was done, and then billed for it. No one explained this and that a fee would be charged. They may have great doctors and care, but their business practices need tons of improvement. Find another provider that is more upfront. read more

I owe so much to OSPI. I came in with severe lower back pain. I was diagnosed, at 25 years old, with a protruding disc in l4-l5 and an extruding disc with an annual fissure in l5-s1, and stenosis. I was in a lot of PAIN. I was overweight, and feeling helpless and overcome by my injury. ENTER OSPI! I worked with Renee, PA on building an incredible program for me including injections, physical therapy and chiropractic ALL in the same building. I worked with amazing individuals at PT (special shout out to David, Eric and Ken!) to slowly build my body up to what I never thought I'd be able to do again. It was a long process over several months, with often tri-weekly appointments, but they never gave up on me! Now I've lost 50 (even I can't believe it!), but 50 pounds!! My strength, endurance, and core strength are back and I feel like I can meet all my current and future fitness goals without being held back by my back pain. And Dr. Jeff, the chiropractor, is an absolute delight. He's brilliant in his work. He's very helpful, informative and never fails to make you laugh even in the worst of situations like chronic pain. He helped my lower back enormously and never forgot to also tend to my other areas of pain. I am eternally grateful to OSPI, and will never miss the pain that brought us together, but will certainly miss this facility of talented, and caring practitioners. read more

Absolutely incompetent staff at this business. I received a PRP shot and was told it would cost me $200. I then was asked if I wanted to schedule PT to assist in recovery. I specifically asked how much the PT would cost. I sat with their staff while they called my insurance and advised it would cost $30 per session. I did 2 session. Easy math. Should have received a bill for $260. 3 weeks later I get a bill for $790! They charged me for 2 PRP shots and an additional $300 for the PT. I call them to dispute the charges and the idiot at the front desk continuously transfers me to their billing department out of state. Even when I specifically asked to speak to their financial manager on site. After 2 weeks of not hearing from her she finally decides to return my call. She then argues with me about her inability to remove the erroneous charges from my bill. I am literally having to scream at her because she is so stupid she doesn't understand. We end the conversation with her advising she would bring the dispute up with management and she specifically advises she WILL CALL ME BACK! 1 month later. No call back. Today I receive THE EXACT SAME BILL! No changes made. This company is an absolute joke. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF, LIED TO, AND TREATED LIKE SHIT! read more

I have seen every Dr here. They have screwed up my appointments so bad and today was the last straw! One of the Drs is no long affiliated with this group and hasn't been in 3 weeks! I received a reminder email and message that my appointment was at 130 today. I showed up and said Dr Miller no longer works here but NO ONE BOTHERED TO CALL ME. This is not the first time they have screwed up the appointments and unfortunately I do have one more appointment with the pain Dr there and then I hope I never have to go back!! I worked out a prepaid plan with Physical Therapy and was told that if I did not use all the Visit's they would refund any prepaid visit's I did not use. For six months I have been calling and getting a run around about my refund. I even had my insurance call them and explain to them how to properly submit a claim. I now recently received a bill from them for $18.00. When I call nobody seems to be able to explain how I owe them money, and they also acknowledge they owe me money! Get it together incompetency does not do well for business. read more

OSPI is a Great facility for any physical injury or ailment . I have been extremely pleased with the results I have achieved since working with OSPI. Dr. Derek Price is the best DC I have visited, he was able to get me aligned and he has an extensive knowledge regarding continued fitness for long lasting results. Dr. Gregory Stewart is an incredible surgeon and I was blessed to have perform my knee replacement surgery on both of my legs. The OSPI rehab facility is attached to their main office which really helps in regards to the communication between the Physical Therapist and the Doctors. I have completed the rehab on my first knee now 100% pain free on my left leg and currently in rehab at OSPI for my right knee. Customer service at OSPI is terrible. I was told I needed an MRI. No problem...except they never sent the referral. I contacted them three different times and NEVER received a response back. I was charged $140 for NOTHING!!!! I now have to go someplace else, pay all over again which I won't mind doing as long as I am treated better than I was with OSPI. Never again!!!! read more

Giving Dr. Clouse two stars because he made a very straight incision doing my husband's total knee replacement; but other than that, our dealings with him and his practice (OSPI) have proved to be an unmitigated disaster. We were told that the vast majority of patients spend one night in the hospital and then go home to a regime of outpatient physical therapy. Unfortunately, my husband did not fall into that majority. Instead, he had severe complications after the surgery and had to be rehospitalized due to blood clots. All in total, he spent eight days in the hospital and nearly three weeks in a skilled nursing facility. One would think a surgeon would have a little compassion after all this, but not Dr. Clouse. Rather than showing any concern, he saw fit to delegate everything to hospitalists and PAs, even though my husband would have had none of these problems if it wasn't for the blasted surgery. Even when we managed to get to the initial post-op appointment, Dr. Clouse had no time to see him, despite the fact that we had been told he would. When we tried to leave, Clouse changed his mind and decided that he did indeed have time to yell at us and berate us for 15 minutes. He seemed incensed that we had the audacity to call his office a total of 5 times and that I criticized one of his PAs. (The PA in question came in my husband's hospital room the morning after surgery and pronounced him good to go, even though he was literally unconscious and was spiking blood pressure readings of 200/120.) Sorry, but we have no intention of returning to that office. If we need one, I'm sure we can find another orthopedic surgeon in the Valley. It is my hope that Dr. Clouse will eventually learn to look at the whole person instead of just seeing a defective knee (or other joint) that he can extract maximum profit from. read more

Dr. Armendariz is outstanding! My husband has been to a long list of doctors in the last 2 years for help with his pain and existing condition. Most seem to be in a rush and have not taken the time to try to diagnosis the root cause of his varied health issues. Dr. Armendariz took the time to listen, obtain a detailed medical history and not just prescribe something just because. I highly recommend this doctor. The receptionist and medical assistant provided great customer service as well. Also, the practice does all forms electronically. This is extremely convenient and easy to complete. read more

Couldn't recommend Dr. Price more highly. I had been looking for a chiro and PT that understood CrossFit and Oly Weightlifting (and for that matter, CrossFitters and Weightlifters and our mentality) in the east valley for almost a year, but most I tried either weren't familiar with the movements, or tried telling me CrossFit and strength training was bad for me (wrong, ego is bad for you, bad coaching is bad for you, bad movement is bad for you) and that I needed to change my fitness regimen to some other activity. If you know anything about CrossFit, you know it is infinitely adaptable and scale-able and anyone can do it, even those with injuries. So, my search up until that point had been futile, to say the least. I injured myself one day about 2 months ago, and after 4 days of not sleeping due to pain, I called my regular PT who I love but is up in North Scottsdale and quite a haul. No appointment was available for at least another 5 days (and I was an established patient there). Desperate, I started madly googling again, trying to find someone who might understand and could help, nearer by. I came upon OSPIs site and read Dr. Clouse's bio. Here! Finally someone who knows CrossFit (he's a level 1 certified coach) and I also later found out, he's an Oly lifting enthusiast. Great! Not only was I able to make an appointment, but I was able to see him THAT DAY. He examined me, and sent me over to see their in-house Chiro. Serendipitously, their regular Chiro had injured himself and who was filling in for him but Dr. Price, who normally does not see appointments. I had actually found Dr. Price about 9 months prior, but when I called to make an appointment then, they advised me he had stepped into an administrative role and was no longer seeing patients. Dr. Price is CrossFit level 1 certified, CrossFit Oly Weightlifting certified, and has participated himself in CrossFit and the CrossFit community for years, amongst many other qualifications. I had found someone who could understand my injury, and how I could continue to train, without sacrificing my healing! He has been fantastic in helping me recuperate, and he has never tried to tell me to stop, because he knows with the CrossFit mentality, that would just be futile. Instead, he has shown me how I can continue to train safely and how to slowly re-incorporate activity to my injured area. As a bonus, he's also very tall, like me, so understands how the regular movements and body positions have to be modified for my long levers and has never tried to force me into a one-size-fits-all mold. Couldn't be happier with my experience. If you CrossFit or weightlift, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. Price. He gets us. read more

After paying $510 upfront for gel in my knees, Cigna paid them in full and I am owed my $510. I have tried for almost 2 months now. Never get a person, only a voice messaging. When Michelle did call me back, the refund was awaiting approval from Laura. Was also told, they only send refunds at the end of the month. April went by, and oops they missed May. (Laura was on vacation). I may get it by the end of June. Never again will I pay upfront to get as procedure started. Very disappointed in how they operate. Kyle administered the gel however and the pain has subsided. It's the billing aspect of the whole situation. Very unprofessional to call an 800 number. I had a 1pm appointment time and was told to be there at 12:30 to fill out forms. I did that and waited. At 1:20 i asked how much longer and was told that my appointment was at 1:15. Either way there were no other patients in the waiting area from when i got there. I was called back and placed in a room waiting an additional 30 minutes. I left the room and told the front desk i was leaving as i had waited 45 minutes already and no one had even come in to take my info. I was asked if i wanted reschedule. I said no and left. Never found out why the doctor was late but will advise the doctor who referred me of the disorgan I zed way my appointment was handled. My time is worth something to me. read more

Dr. Jeff is amazing. I have never done chiro before and I had a bit of trepidation about seeing one. Coming into OSPI office to see Dr. Clouse about a shoulder issue, he gave me a shot, prescribing PT to keep the injury from returning. That has been working great so far as well with David. I am able to see Dr. Jeff before or after the PT sessions and that works out great for my schedule. In short, I am so very glad that I came here. What I thought was just a simple shoulder pain got a little more complicated than I expected, but all the staff has made it very easy to get through. read more

I actually really liked the Dr. I saw here. His name was Dr. Clause. However, the rest of my experience with this place was miserable. The Dr. told me to schedule an apt. with the Biomechanics PT which I did. I showed up for my apt the following Monday at 1:30 and was told that my apt. was actually on Tuesday. I pointed out that they had written down Monday on my apt. reminder and they said, "Sorry about that." So, I went ahead and rescheduled for the following Monday at 1:30. Again, the apt was written down for me by the person who made it. Guess what? I showed up on the following Monday and was told that the Dr. went on vacation and someone was supposed to call me to reschedule. According to them, I was the only person that somehow they forgot to call. So, 2 weeks in a row I show up for an apt. that the front office scheduled only to be told it was cancelled. I went ahead and cancelled all of my follow ups because obviously these people are extremely incompetent. This is unfortunate because I really liked the Dr., but I think he also works somewhere else, so I will track him down there. read more

Dr Jones is an amazing Dr. but his assistant and front office staff are terrible. Had a scheduled time to be at my appointment of 11:00. I've been following Jones from all of his earlier practices. And haven't had any problems until he went to OSPI. And I put this appointment in my calendar as I was still there. And would've balked at thee appointment they had of 9:15 if they said it, as I already had a previous appointment with my son having therapy from 8:30-9:30 and wouldn't have been able to get there until 10:00. And wouldn't have scheduled that time to begin with. I can keep going on and on as I've been going here for a few years. Billing is a joke as well. Over billed numerous times. And Dr Jones himself was furious when I showed him by bill for an office visit. Had a great dr/patient relationships with him, but it unfortunate that his staff has disrupted this to continue to the future. read more
