I had a great experience! the entire team were pleasant, professional, yet friendly. Dr. Saha was impressive. During the procedure, I was able to watch him working. Having lived in an operating room for 40 years, I could easily see his confidence and professionalism. At the same time, he is very personable. those two don't always go together. Do not go here. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this office. I moved forward with a medical procedure with Dr Saha believing I had been properly informed about insurance, only to later receive $4500 unexpected charges. At no point was I told that the procedure was not covered by Blue Cross, and that I will be charged $4,500 out of pocket. Had I been given honest and transparent information from the beginning, I would have made a different medical and financial decision and chosen the secondary surgery, which is covered by Blue Cross. Patients deserve full informed consent, including clear financial disclosure before undergoing procedures. Instead, they went about like it was covered, going as far as putting in the claim and then appealing the claim, when they knew it would NEVER be covered. Then they told me to appeal it which caused weeks of stress and frustration only to be told by Blue Cross that "the appeal date had passed five months ago" (which the doctors office knew). So overall I felt pressured into a costly procedure without being told that it wasn't covered, then lied to about the appeals and charged without any disclosers or conversations. I have had 5 surgeries before and I'm always responsible for the copay and deductibles. Never have I ever had this kind of situation. This experience caused unnecessary stress, frustration, and financial burden for months. Transparency and patient trust matters, and unfortunately that was not my experience here. Be sure your surgery is covered by your insurance before signing anything and make sure they are transparent about pricing!!!! read more

I went to the Scottsdale office for an arterial procedure, following recommendation from my GP. All contacts were very helpful. Alex at the front desk helped me set things up and coordinate transportation, RNs Kurt and Emily were incredible- very friendly and helpful in getting me ready, advising me, and moving me around. I did not get to interact much with the IR team, because I was put under so quickly, but everything went well. Dr. Saha did come by before the procedure (and afterward), and was very friendly and helpful in discussing what we were about to do. The procedure was pain-free and I was comfortable all the way through. It took 2 hours (longer than expected, but that is how it goes sometimes.) I felt I was being cared for very well. Afterwards, I was out in an hour or so, feeling fine. Another great experience was in the followup. Some of the symptoms I was experiencing during the 7-day recovery period were not described in the documents I was given, so I felt a need to ask about them. I was able to call in and talk with Emily a couple of times about these, and I really appreciated her comments and help on this. Yes, she was usually busy with other patients when I called, but she did call back soon, and I appreciated that. Overall, my experience at My Aim was really good. As I wrote this, I could not help but read the one-star notes above, just to see what was up. I guess you can't please everyone. It is hard to know exactly what happened in those cases (2 sides to every story), but all I can say is that my experience there was really good. read more

Where to even begin!!!??? I was refered to Dr Saha via my podiatrist as we were concerned about possibly losing my foor or toes almost 3 weeks ago. They got me in for an intial consult on a monday or tuesday and by that friday was all scheduled to have the clot removed from my femerol artery. Unfortunatly it did not take and was back in the following wed. Because I was to start a new job on Monday Dr Saha was able to get me in and place a stent on Friday, just 2 days later. Dr Saha was more than willing to respond to questions and concerns I had over the weekend as 1 toe was not responding yet and, to me looked very bad. Dr Saha took the time to review the photo's I provided him during the weekend and got a script for nitro paste sent over to the pharmacy that Sunday evening. Back Story: I originally went to Banner Hospital in Mesa on June 9. At that time the mis-diagnossed me as having micro fractures of the foot and released me several hours later. On July 3 I went back and this time things progressed and had gotten worse. The plaque clot in my Femerol Artery was over 6.5 inches long and now the viens in my left leg was all clotted up. All they did for me was place me on a Heprin drip for 4 days. It took my podiatrist noticing how blue all 5 toes were becoming and how painful they were that he made the decision that my foot could not go another 2 weeks before being seen!!!! THESE PEOPLE ARE GREAT!!!!!!!!!!! I give a shout out to the staff at both Scottsdale and Gilbert offices!! They treated me as a person and not as a simple "Case" Special Shout out goes out to Emily in the Scottsdale office, without whom I'd probably be a neurotic mess!!!! read more

Monsters. All of them. They run it like a drive-thru. McSurgery. They want you in and out ASAP. They treat you like an object and with cookie cutter care. An hour after I left this hell hole, I was taken by ambulance to the hospital and admitted. I was going into shock. My blood pressure dropped and I passed out in the Emergency Room. I had already thrown up 5 times and ended up vomiting a total of 8 times by 10 PM. I was white as a ghost and shaking. I felt cold in 110 degrees weather. I was held for observation, 4 bags fluid IVs, morphine, anti-nausea, CT scan, & blood work. I had been in agony post-op in the recovery room not for one, but for 3 hours (!) and they didn't help me--just wanted me out of there. They literally watched me writhe in pain and hyperventilate. They told me that this was normal. Instead of walking out, I was wheeled out in a wheelchair and, like a child, p/u and placed in my car. I could barely speak. THIS WAS NOT NORMAL!!! I have been a ranger and scout for decades. I have assisted helicopter evacs for tourists with the same symptoms...because they're going into shock which leads to death. Twenty four hours later, I was released from the hospital because I could finally keep fluids down...so I could take electrolytes & pain pills and I could finally walk short distances unassisted. Getting a Uterine Fibroids Embolism has got to be one of the worst decisions I have ever made. Over the phone, the follow up conversation, the guy (David?) was really defensive. He made it sound like I was the problem because I must've had a low tolerance for pain. He kept saying, "We told you it was gonna hurt." He said my bp crashed b/c of pain meds. It crashed b/c of shock. Just ask the ER staff. I was in the BSA, USFS, State Parks, and a competitive athlete in an academically competitive boarding school. I also was a wilderness instructor. I have a higher pain threshold than most men I know. I have saved 2 lives and coordinated patient care during medical emergencies. I have had a Wilderness First Responder certification. These people have got to be psychopaths. They take advantage of Americans. They're sneaky and downplay the dangers and pain involved. They artificially fixed the numbers needed to release me by pumping me full of drugs to get my hyperventilating & pulse down. I'm not stepping back into their clinic ever again, not even for a follow-up. They are not going to make another penny off of me. If I need help, I'm going to a real doctor at a real hospital. I am following up with my gyno and regret not allowing her to remove the fibroids surgically in a hospital and do a biopsy. I have PTSD because of this place. (I even felt pain on their operating table.) RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! All of their positive reviews are old !!! read more

Went in for trial spinal cord stimulator. My appt was 12:30. Wasn't taken to the back for 1 1/2 hours. After taking vitals and putting in IV I waited till 3:15pm and finally asked how much longer I had to wait. Was told it would be another 30-45 minutes and they had to clean the room b4 I went in. So I would be waiting from 12:30 til 4pm. They then explained that they were running 1 hr behind but it was more like 2 hrs. No one asked me if I could wait that long or did I want to reschedule. I left and didn't have the procedure. My time is just as valuable as the doctors. They need to communicate with their patients. Not just assume I'll be OK sitting for hours waiting with no explnation. read more

I've been dealing with knee problems for a while now and went to consultations at a couple of other offices before ultimately choosing this one. The office staff is friendly and welcoming. Dr. Saha really took the time to discuss all of my questions and concerns and made sure I was comfortable with moving forward. Before you agree to vein ablations, consider the risk of blood clots and permanent nerve damage as a result. I have nerve damage in a large part of my leg after treatment in the Scottsdale office. Please get a second opinion. You probably don't even need the ablation. read more

Management is the worse. If you have any issues with them they won't hear your side just fire you with no notice. BEWARE this is the kind of company to let you go because it's an at will state. They don't need a reason. Especially if you are coming up on a yearly raise. They will find someone new for cheaper while you still work with them. They will try and get you to quit by isolating you and giving opportunities and promotions to others because of favoritism. You won't receive any vacation time only PTO that you will have to work over a month for just to have enough hours to cover one shift. THERE ARE NO BOUNSES OR FLEXIBILITY. They will never give you a raise no matter how much more work you do. If you speak Spanish please run. They take advantage of you the most by making you do things for other departments. Do you need time off because a family member passed? You won't get bereavement because they will say "they aren't personal enough to you" ( It was my uncle). The list can go on. read more

Saw Dr Saha for a procedural consult per my MD (MD recommended Dr Wood, but he has since retired). Saw Dr. Saha - very personable, patient and discussed procedure in depth, answering all questions. When I went to schedule the procedure, I was told my insurance does not cover the procedure. The office knew this prior to my visit. When I asked why I did not receive a call to inform me of this so I could cancel my appointment (as the procedure was the reason for my visit), I was told "we are not allowed to." This is an office that just wants your money! There is no (legal) reason they cannot inform a patient of this information before hand to allow a patient to make an informed decision. Just one of a myriad reasons our health insurance is so expensive...a totally wasted visit with absolutely no outcome and a waste of my time! Dr. Wood performed a complicated procedure on my Husband 6-21-19. He removed a kidney bag that my husband had worn for 2 months. He said to expect leaks and drainage, but none of that occurred.. I selected Dr. Wood based on the terrific reviews he has on Yelp, and I was still impressed with his expertise, his care, his attention, his office process, etc. His office staff was equally efficient and caring. I came to Yelp because my two other doctors (PCP and podiatrist) didn't have a referral I trusted. The reason for my visit was ankle swelling, ankle bruises, and red spots on my lower legs. His staff performed an ultrasound on my legs, then he came in and did some other testing on my legs and feet, explained his findings to me, and gave me two options. One was something I could do at home (easy), and the other was a minimally invasive option. He gave me total choice in selecting the option, without trying to talk me into any kind of surgical solution (which I've read that many doctors do). I very highly recommend him for leg and ankle vein issues, and based on other Yelp reviews, it sounds like he can identify and heal other issues, too. read more

Dr. Woods is a vascular surgeon and vein treatment specialist. He is the ONLY doctor that I could find that would treat my vaginal varicosities. I consulted numerous other doctors and could not find anyone that would treat my issue. I can't tell you how great it is to not have a large varicosity on my labia. As a woman, it's hard enough to be confident about that area, but you don't need anything else contributing to that. After having 2 kids, the vaginal varicosity I had grew very large, and I lived with that for 25 years. No one was able to help me. Thankfully, he was. He treated them in a very simple, mostly pain-free manner, and I am much happier now. Please spread the word on this. No woman should have to live with vaginal varicosities! read more

Dr. Wood is amazing and has given me back a huge part of my life! This is going to be a super long review, but if you are considering seeing Dr. Wood for anything, it is worth the read. Even if you aren't considering seeing him but have migraines and are looking for treatment options, you should read my ridiculously long review! I have suffered from severe migraine headaches since I was 10 years old. I get all the textbook symptoms with these migraines - vomiting, photophobia, excruciating pain in my head and neck, horrible fatigue, difficulty reading, focusing, intolerance to noises, scents - you name it, I get it. I have missed school and work so many times over the past 20 years I've lost track, and I've toughed it through a work day countless times and suffered for days because of it. After a 90+ hour migraine, I was absolutely desperate for relief and to get back to work after missing a day and a half already. Dr. Wood's office amazingly worked me in the next morning to talk about my options. I went in to his office in horrible pain, unable to tolerate light, sounds, or scents and I left WITHOUT my sunglasses on and actually didn't want to die! Dr. Wood was SO kind and patient with me, took his time and never rushed me at all. He answered all my questions (even though I'm a super annoying and inquisitive patient, he was so nice and polite and did not seem to be at all bothered by my million questions!). When I was satisfied with our discussion and I had decided that his treatment was the right choice for me, we proceed with the treatment that same day! He was very honest with me about the procedure and his experiences, and I felt very safe and relaxed with him, knowing I could trust him. I've seen a lot of doctors for my migraines over the years and I've actually never had a doctor be so kind, patient, willing to listen to me, and discuss what all my options were. It was very clear through our discussion that he is very knowledgeable, experienced, truly cares for his patients and wants what is best for them. Now, I wouldn't want to get this procedure done for fun on my weekends or anything, but Dr. Wood and his assistant made it as pleasant as possible. They walked me through the entire process before starting anything and kept me informed throughout the process and even slowed it down to help me tolerate it a little bit better. I'm sure this slowed his day down, but he was so kind about it and really did not seem to mind at all. The procedure isn't pleasant by any means but it's so quick and the discomfort really is gone as soon as it is over. It's not really painful, just not exactly a fun thing to do. They actually had to turn some of the lights in the room off for me prior to starting the procedure because I just could not tolerate it, but the second he finished the first treatment, I was actually able to STARE INTO THE LIGHT! If you've never had a migraine this sounds ridiculous, but if you have migraines you understand how huge that is. I was in the MIDDLE of a migraine and was able to STARE at a fluorescent light WITHOUT PAIN! It was incredible. I hadn't been able to tolerate lighting for 5 days at this time and I could have cried I was so happy. According to Dr. Wood, I will require two more treatments with my next two migraines but so far, it has been 72 days since my last migraine! And my last migraine was the one that was active when he did my treatment. Back story for this - I have been getting migraines every 6-20 days since I was 10 years old (I'm 31 now). I have actually NEVER gone this long without a migraine since I had my first one, and I cannot tell you how incredible that is. I had truly tried everything prior to this treatment. I avoided bright lights, perfumes, noises, certain foods (including chocolate and red wine), I tried medications, meditations, massage, acupuncture, basically everything you've read on the internet I have tried with little or no success. I actually eat chocolate now! It took me about a month to be that brave, but so far, I haven't had a migraine even with the chocolate I've started introducing back in to my diet (very, very slowly, but hey, any amount of chocolate is amazing when you haven't had any for years!). It actually took me a month to realize how much I had been restricting myself and my life over the years for fear of triggering a migraine, and it is so amazing to have a little more freedom back in my life after having such a successful treatment. His assistant was great too, very kind and caring and very helpful! I cannot recommend Dr. Wood enough. If you are considering seeing him for anything I definitely recommend going to see him! And if you are just out there searching for an answer to your migraines, go see him!!! read more

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Dr. David Wood. I first met with Dr. Wood in November for a consultation at ImageMed. He spent over an hour with me getting to know me and educating me on the different options I had to address my health condition. He was very thorough and took his time. By the end of my consultation I felt comfortable and decided to go ahead with a treatment. The day of my procedure Dr. Wood again went over with me what was going to take place so I would feel comfortable and know what to expect.
