I was adding my sister and myself, and everything initially seemed promising. However, when I emailed in June 2026 asking for our flight information -- for a trip we believed was fully paid for back in January 2026 with a "discount" -- I learned that no flights had been booked, no payment for flights had been processed. She then blamed us for the misunderstanding. There was no follow‑up from her to clarify the situation, confirm what was needed, which she said herself it should have been done in Feburary 2026, or ensure anything was taken care of. So you can imagine the chaos of trying to secure flights in June 2026 for a trip in July 2026. My friend ended up spending hours on the phone with her, well past midnight, booking flights for all of us. She even paid upfront because I was suddenly told I owed $1,425 and my sister owed $891. My friends -- who had already paid for their 2025 trip -- also had to pay additional costs and lost the flight voucher they were supposed to receive for 2025 to apply to the 2026 trip. It was a nightmare, and I've never experienced anything like this with any other travel agent. So beware. I may be wrong, but it certainly felt like we ended up covering something related to her timeshare, and that she benefited financially at our expense. As for the resort: it was older and showing its wear. There was construction happening during our stay, and we were disappointed to find only two pools -- one adult and one family -- with no activities. The pools closed at 8 p.m., which felt unusually early. Overall, make sure you ask every question upfront and do not assume she will be transparent or take care of the details you would expect a travel agent to handle.

We had a great experience at that tour, so we decided to try the Milwaukee food tour. This one was a walking lunch tour through the Brady Street neighborhood. Our tour guide, Britt, was very friendly and seemed knowledgeable about the history of the neighborhood. She provided some interesting facts along our walk. The restaurant stops provided delicious tastings from their menus. I appreciated that most of the stops provided individual servings allowing everyone to get their fare share of the food and for sanitary reasons. We did enjoy the tour and the walking distance felt doable. Britt made sure everyone was safe and got their food and beverages. My one suggestion would be to check the nearby festivities around the date you are planning to attend. Our tour date was the day after the Brady Street Festival and the street and sidewalks were filled with litter, empty liquor containers and some areas had broken glass on the walkways. Also, some areas that we walked through to get to the 1st meeting destination smelled like urine.

For $50, you'll get a really great Walk The Line tour through the facility after you're taught how an engine is put together piece-by-piece.
