The school sucks so much and I'm so glad my daughter is graduating because there is no such thing as discretion in the school at all I spent over $1000 over graduation and everything and they lost my ticket to my daughter getting into prom tonight and bullshit. Bullshit bullshit bullshit. There was no way of fixing it. There's no discretion at all as if I'm not gonna have my daughter go to prom... The school is the worst or anything there's no such thing as discretion. Hi, let me just say I am not happy. You see, in a week, is the homecoming dance and of course there's spirit week. The themes that were chosen are, and let me put this nicely, trash. First, it seemed like they wanted to give a gender bender day and then decided to go halfsies. What is a fraternity day? Anyway, then they came out the woods with tropical day. Y'all already had a football game with that theme and now your wasting a spirit day on it? not looking good for you. And finally blue and silver day. I have no words. Like really I'm speechless. Had to visit Oswego East High School today to pick up my Immunization Records for North Central College. If I never have to go back to this school again I will a happy gal. I called just yesterday to ask if they could just fax the records to my college, and of course they said they couldn't for legal reasons. The nurse got really short with me when she was explaining to me why, like I was wasting her time. She then asked me when I wanted to come and pick them up. "Today if possible," I said to which she responded, "Not gonna happen." Then why the hell would you ask me I wanted them?? "OK so when can I pick them up?" She said that she has to go dig them out of storage since I graduated years ago and blah blah blah, she could have them for me tomorrow morning. Fine, whatever. Today, I went and picked them up and it was like visiting a prison! The school has changed a lot in the past six years. When you enter, you go up to the front desk and you have to give them a form of ID and state your purpose. Then, if you are being expected by someone, they will buzz you through....only to go through another office where you have to explain why you are there. I get having school security, but this was a little ridiculous. The lady at the front had my shot records and as she handed them to me she said, "five dollars". What the hell, the lady yesterday didn't tell me they were charging me for them. I had no cash on me, which really annoyed the lady at the front, so she 'settled' for a check. This isn't the first time I've had issues with the school, more specifically the front offices and the ladies that work there. Getting my official transcripts was a nightmare. Hopefully, I won't have to deal with them ever again. read more

I have been to many high schools in my four years due to moving and being relocated. I've been to wheeling high school, Hersey high school, rolling meadows high school, Buffalo grove high school, and no Oswego east, and Oswego east is by far the nicest one I've been to. The teachers are great. Only complaint is that we can't seem to hold a principal. read more

Super wide variety of snacks and foods and friendly, helpful service make it a pleasure to leave a bagged lunch/dinner at home and buy from the stand instead.
