Jessica steals money from her patients and refuses to provide the service they paid for or refund…read morethem. She charged us for a package of 5 sessions for hand therapy and after the first few sessions just stopped answering our calls or messages to book the other appointments we already paid her for. The only way to ever get a hold of her was to call from a no caller id number and then she would say shes just been so busy and will contact us soon with times for an appointment. Then we never hear from her. It's now been six months trying to get a hold of her just to book the sessions we've already paid her for. She refuses to provide the service we paid for and refuses to refund us for the money we paid her for a service we never received. She is dishonest and a thief.

I thoroughly enjoy Jessica's hand therapy. First off, her office has plenty of parking which isn't…read morealways the case now in SB and that makes it so easy. She runs her own practice which means you're not sitting in a waiting room for her to finish with a patient. You get the sense that she really cares about you not only as a patient and a person as well. Her treatments are sensitive and caring. I feel like she knows how to make you go to just the right amount of exercise and does not press you beyond what you should be doing. It's a peaceful and quiet environment as well. I'm sorta Krull she started her practice recently because the place my hand doctor wanted to send me is so busy and impacted that they could only see me once a week versus the twice a week he had prescribed. She's just a genuine person and has all of the gizmos and things that make your hand feel better and get back into shape.

Where to start? First they are really 4.5 stars but I'm going to round up because they saved my…read moremother in laws life. Mom arrived midnight off a plane and long drive (from Kentucky via LAX ) They accommodated us with a crazy check in time, IV antibiotics, wound treatment daily, special bed, special food, extra monitoring, adverse drug reaction, physical therapy, infectious illness quarantine and handled it all with warmth poise and professionalism. Her first PT session the therapist, Antonio, sang to her which really got a previously bedridden lady up and going. Cynthia, the wound nurse would bend into ridiculously awkward positions to tend to mom's wound which had resulted in a bone infection and within weeks mom was discharged with clear culture and a newfound energy. Alejandra, her regular CNA was a spectacular caregiver with the special blend of aptitude and kindness. Megan in OT was an inspiration for me in how to relate to a care recipient. Gladys in Social Services made sure we had everything prepped and support in place for mom to come home. Karen, the Dietician/nutritionist, asked which juice mom would prefer and they hid that disgusting protein in her drink to help her wound heal. Suzy, the nurse responded to an adverse reaction to antibiotics that made mom's recovery possible. Yes, two brand new nighties went missing and looking at previous reviews it is apparently a chronic housekeeping problem along with an older facility, but still 4.5 stars because how does any of that compare to turning a declining person's life around? Thank you Buena Vista. Mom is 83 and we are so grateful you turned her life around giving her renewed energy and optimism.

Staff is dismissive towards patients and their families, at best. Facility is outdated and dirty,…read morethe fire suppression system leaks. Physical therapy needs are not met. Food is inedible. Blood and urine labs aren't taken as they should be. The maintenance stole personal belongs and had to be physically tracked down and forced to return them. Do NOT allow your loved one here, they will get WORSE not better.
