As usual the massage started in just abt 5 min by another lady. I learnt they all are of Chinese descent. The massage was well below average. The masseuse did not know what a deep tissue massage is. Not sure if she is even licensed. Told her I had knots in my back but she paid no heed to my words. My body is little hardened as compared to others as I workout. On my biceps she started to slap hard thinking it is a knot. On my shoulders she started massaging as if she is kneading dough. Massage is $65 for the hour but if u choose to pay by credit card then u have to shell out $3 extra. The masseuse will be overlooking the process to know how much gratuity you included in the final bill. Finally was given a chilled bottle of water as a parting gift. I was relieved to get out of that place. Never going there back again. Worst service!

Then a woman opened the door to the treatment rooms and greater me with a "yea what so you want". I asked for a 1 hour massage and she said no she could only do 30 minutes. She showed me to a room and after some confusion she apparently wanted payment up front. We went back out to the front where she informed me Taht there was a $2 charge for paying by credit card. This was not posted anywhere. Then she was unhappy with my tip before she even provided the service. I asked for my money back if my tip before service was not sufficient. After much huffing she took be back to the treatment room where I received the worst massage of my life. I have bruises and am in more discomfort than before I came. After this torture was over I could barely get off the table because I was in so much pain. As I was dressing the woman opened the door without knocking and said ok. It was obvious I needed to leave. I was not offered any water and felt I was basically kicked out. This is not the hospitality or service I have received previously. As a result I will not go back and will ensure I let others know of my experience. Because I was in so much pain I went to Diamond nails a few doors down to sit in their chairs to relax. I get bad knots in my shoulders from how I sleep, stress, etc and if I don't get them worked out, they will give me a debilitating tension headache. On their website, they have an offer for $10 off if you call and schedule an appointment, so I called and made an appointment. When I got there, I was the only person there and had to wait a couple of minutes before being greeted. Also, one of the first things I noticed was a sign that said 'Tips appreciated (at least 24%)' I explained that I needed 30 minutes on my shoulder because of knots that cause me terrible headaches. She seemed like she understood and took me back. They have an open room with multiple tables. She told me to remove my bra and top and lay down, and pulled another towel 'for privacy'. I thought it was odd to have to undress in the open, but I just wanted my pain to go away. As she started to massage, she rubbed me down underneath hot towels, then did hot stones, brief massage across shoulders and back, massaged & stretched my legs then finished with maybe 10 minutes of foot reflexology. I knew already that there was no way my knots were gone, since I barely felt her go over any - she just focused on my 'circulation problem'. Pricing: They have 30 min reflexology on one area for $30, 30 min massage for $45, or VIP for $60. I had anticipated the $30 for one area because I specifically asked for her to focus on my shoulder, however I figured they would try to charge $45, so I would ask to use the $10 off online offer for calling to schedule the appt. No surprise, she told me it would be $45, I asked if she would take the $10 off. She then told me she really gave me the VIP (which I didn't ask for), so she's giving me a better discount than $10 off. So at the end of the day I end up spending $45 (+tip) for a massage that did not help my shoulder problems. I will be going back to my usual place in fort worth at Beach & Basswood (Moonlight something?) 9 times out of 10, they will get rid of all my knots.

I would recommend the foot massage only and here is why... Here's what was nice. There is nice ambiance, tender music, and soft lighting. They offer a good foot massage, warm foot soak, hot rocks, everything you could ask for. My issues started whenever they were working on my upper body They utilize a lot of general deep tissue techniques but it is evident that there is not a lot of knowledge of the body and particular muscles that need attention. I'm a thinner build, so many of the techniques they use were especially rough. The movements were very fast, did not feel intentional, and it felt more like my body was being moved around by there hands than any deep work on my muscles. I can already tell I'll probably be sore in the morning. Take that as you will. I would much rather pay more money for a more professional massage. I think having a softer massage that is more intentional in working out the muscles would be worth much more than having thumbs and elbows driven into my neck and back... but that's just me. *Updated* This is the morning after my experience. I'm starting to develop light bruising in my upper back. I definitely do not recommend any body massage from this establishment. But I do acknowledge that they are trying to make an honest living. If you are going for a foot massage you will not be disappointed!
