I've had two massages here - one was a Swedish massage and very gentle and the other was deep tissue, both with different therapists and both were excellent and exactly what I needed. Both massages were perfect!! My husband and I always get massages together and usually one of us thinks it could have been better but this time we both thought it was fabulous. We don't usually go for the sauna, pools or special showers at spas so I like that this plan doesn't have a bunch of that stuff, I think it makes the cost so much more reasonable. There is another spa that I have been wanting to try but for the same service, the cost is double... after yesterday's experience, there is honestly no reason to try anywhere else. A few years ago, I initially booked at Sutera because they offer weekend/extended hours which help with my schedule (work full time/2 children/husband travels every week). I met Tera at that time and haven't wavered on returning back to her every single time for facials. She is amazing at what she does and is an amazing person. I want to say, this spa knows what they're doing. I had a Swedish massage completed by Louisa. Not only was this massage therapeutic, but it was informed. I was silent for the entirety of the treatment but I could tell that Louisa was tuning into my areas of dysfunction with intention. Although massage therapy is a completely different field from the field in which I've trained (osteopathic medicine), I felt as if she was promoting self-healing during our treatment session. I had an aromatherapy massage with Louisa and an anti-aging facial with Kimberly. I have found my people. The spa is clean and nice. I felt completely safe during covid times. I opted for a Swedish massage instead of a deep tissue and it was so nice. Louisa knows what she is doing. I could feel all the yuck slip away as she rubbed and soothed. I look forward to a deep tissue with her in the future. Kimberly is exactly who is missing from my life. She told me I am dehydrated and I know very well it's true. For her to see it showing signs in my face I realize I have to fix it. She educated me and wants to sell me products BUT she wants to know exactly what I already have so she can counsel me through what I may already own. She understands it can be hard to buy a lot of products at one time. So you know what she did? She gave me a consultation appointment for later today and in the meantime I will go home and gather my facial products and bring them with me. Then she will help me prioritize what products I need. She also gave me a hydration packet to mix with water that she really likes so I could try it. I'm happy with my visit. I'll update in a few months. read more
