I'd been hearing a lot about Mike at Otteman Arts in Loveland, CO. I had a framed mirror that had one of the corners come loose making it look like one more bump and the mirror would come crashing out of the frame. The half inch gap in the joint made it look pretty ragged; certainly not like anything any of us would want hanging on our wall. Mike is quite the craftsman when it comes to frames and what I got back resulted in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jo1LzQ7PYJE It also had a marred finish. Mike is an artist that studied at University of Denver and when he told me he could repair the finish, I pretty much believed him. When I got this mirror back, this video is of the result of his artistic work on the finish of the frame: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YCRL6Q_vaUU Not only did he do a super job of retouching the finish and repairing the loose joint, but, the frame came back to me with these attached. Mike is an artist and craftsman. You need something repaired or a custom frame.....GO TO OTTEMAN! He has helped me time and time again with incredibly beautiful mats and frames. I am a professional artist and I could not recommend anyone higher than Mike. read more

History

Established in 2005.

Otteman Arts began as a small home based business in 2005 and moved to a store front in downtown Loveland, Co. in 2007. We work with both home owners and professional artists. In 2017 we added a gallery represent local professional artists.

Meet the Business Owner: Michael O.

Michael has lived in Loveland since 1960 where he graduated from Loveland High school. He graduated from the University of Denver in 1990 with a degree in studio arts. Michael began picture framing in 1990 and enjoys designing frames which enhance original works of art.
