This upscale boutique in Hinton was really neat. It's located in a historic building in downtown Hinton. They have reserved parking for guests down an alley next door and it's also easy to find street parking. I was surprised to find a store selling Birkenstocks, Teva sandals and Hydro Flask water bottles in such a small town in WV. They also had a nice selection of clothing and accessories for both men and women. On the second floor, they have the Otter Cafe which is a coffee shop that sells pastries. My chai latte was amazing! Better than the ones I get at Starbucks in Charleston, SC. I also tried a chocolate cream horn which is basically an ice cream cone- shaped pastry with chocolate cream in the middle. Best hot chocolate i've had in my entire life. If I lived here I would hang out here every day. Great friendly service and great atmosphere.

Wonderful venue, very clean and modern in the middle of rural West Virginia. Barista was friendly and knowledgeable, great customer focus with a variety of coffee products to suit individual tastes. Ample parking lot on the side of the building. All in all, a surprisingly good experience for locals and tourists alike. Glad to find a coffee shop that has good coffee. read more

The cafe upstairs has loads of delicious drink options and baked goods from local restaurant Lucky River. The downstairs is high-end sporting goods -- supplies for canoeing and camping, heavy socks, go-pro cameras, jackets, etc. Upstairs has interesting art, stained glass, pottery and photography. I'll be back. read more
