We were hungry so we asked someone where we could eat and they told us a place called the market downtown It was a very busy place so we figured the food had to be good We were so disappointed, I had the chicken Parmesan and my friend had hotdogs and fries. My friend said the hotdogs were pretty good and the french fries would've been if they had been warm. The chicken Parmesan was a big bowl with little tiny pieces of spaghetti in it and very little marinara sauce and a big hard solid piece of chicken laying on top of it. I was not able to chew the chicken and the noodles were just bland without enough marinara sauce on it to tell that it was there I ordered boneless wings with barbecue sauce as an appetizer. What I got was about six chicken nuggets that were deep-fried hard and they weren't even warm. We also ordered fried pickles as an appetizer and I think they were OK. On the upside, the place was packed And the people that work there were awesome. Everyone of them were very friendly. It was a little warm in the building and it felt like the heat was on in the bathroom. It was 97 outside so I'm not sure if they were having a cooling issue or what. The place did have some good qualities but I judged my review on the presentation and the taste of the food and it not being warm. My friend got his appetizer within a bit 15 minutes, but then it took another 15 to get mine so he was finished with his by the time I got mine. Absolutely beautiful little town

It was a bit busy so we expected a slight delay on drinks/food, but our server kept checking on us every few minutes and kept our drinks full. The atmosphere/design is very unique and offers great talking points for the table. You can look around and always find something new you haven't seen before. For food, I got the French dip, my husband got the fried catfish, and mom got the smash burger. Food was EXCELLENT. The au jus from the French dip was not overly salty as I've had in the past, and it was the perfect amount for the sandwich. Not like other places that will either give you a big tub of au jus or ever a small saucer cup. After lunch, we walked around as they have a shopping area inside with soaps, handmade pottery/kitchenware, and local vendor products such as hatch chile cream cheese and pickled vegetables. Price was very favorable too and didn't seem to be overly priced where the business/vendor up charges significantly to make a huge profit. Definitely worth stopping by even if you only have time for Togo coffee, a snack, of just to shop around!
