Okay, this place is actually a part of a motel, but the bistro can literally stand on its own. It is one of those old country buildings but when you walk inside it has certainly been done up to look like you typical cafe-bar. The best thing about this place though are the views - they are amazing, looking over the tropical rainforest and the traquil fields where the alpaca's graze. They also have an outdoor area where you can enjoy the views first hand, and it is also non-smoking (the smokers are relegated around the corner to where the dogs sleep). As for the service, well it is what you can expect from a place in the middle of the country, and that is top notch. Okay, it is on the Great Ocean Road, so it does mean that you are going to get your fair share of tourists coming through here, but still, it is a great place to stop for a rest on your journey. read more
