I sincerely regret trusting them with my child's care and beg you to avoid this place like the plague. My child did also report that one teacher hit him on the head which I believe did happen. Each time I reported any concern, I was ultimately given reassurance but nothing was every done except move my child to the next class which of course had its own set of new problems... when I ultimately took my child out because of safety concerns after he said he was hit by his teacher, and lost thousands of dollars because I didn't feel comfortable sending him there... the main supervisor (can't remember her name) didn't even bother calling me back when I reported what my son said about being hit by a teacher. She acted like I was inconveniencing her when I called to follow up about it, very very strange. I do regret not involving law enforcement. Horrendous experience!

He has so much fun and they have so many great activities for all kids. Another plus to this group is the they provide the children with a great education. The ladies that take care of him are amazing and they update us everyday as to how his day went, when he ate, slept, had a diaper change, or a snack. Deep down I knew this was probably a result of my actions and/or weaknesses, and overall I knew I loved and respected the staff and environment of the place, however as the years went on I was tempted to be bitter (especially after feeling so well received in future public schools). Fast forwarding a decade had brought me more experiences and perspective, allowing me to more thoroughly appreciate what Northshore was doing in my life at the time. They held a high standard in a way that balanced love and firmness. I think we were both growing and learning at that time, and I cannot deny that I was shown love, guidance, an example of excellence, etc. Super important things to a growing kid. Fast forward another decade, I was able to return to Northshore and visit with my old principal and some of the teachers I had back then. An awesome experience to see them as fellow adults, see their personal/professional growth and the success of their academics, school campus, etc. Even got to have a chat with one of my childhood heroes Marc Marion. Marc: well done, good and faithful servant! Coming full circle, I now have a kindergartener at Northshore. We weighed many options during our research, and we felt the overall benefits far outweighed the sacrifices. Almost a year into school, I can confidently say we made the right decision. Every school and every person has issues, quirks, etc., yet the level of excellence in all areas has surpassed our expectations. I could list all the positives I've seen, but I think Northshore does a well enough job of marketing themselves, so I'll leave it at this: I couldn't ask for a better place to entrust a significant portion of my son's daily mental/physical/spiritual growth. His two favorite people are Diana and Amanda, and honestly, they are my favorites too. They have helped my son so much. They work with him on preschool learning, and they have been incredibly supportive with potty training. Because of their patience and guidance, Kamran behaves really well there and at home he is now almost fully potty trained You can truly tell that Diana and Amanda care deeply about the kids. They are compassionate, respectful to parents, friendly, and very easy to approach. Every time I see them, it's obvious how hard they work and how much love they put into what they do. Working with children is not easy, it takes a special heart and special kind of person. They really are superheroes in this field, and they are a huge asset to this company. The owner also introduced himself to me and showed appreciation, which meant a lot. That level of hospitality made me feel even more comfortable and safe bringing my son there. I actually drive very far just so Kamran can attend this location. I truly wish there was a KidsPark closer to where we live, that would be perfect. Well, My princess daughter starts last year in the preschool and I'm very thankful and appreciate their work, the way they teach the kids, The activities they plan, the room they decorate, and their friendships-- it's all incredible, and it's helping our daughter (and us!) believe that school is fun, which is incredibly important. My daughter will be in kindergarten next year, and she's ready for that, she can write her name and trying to read full word too in addition to counting and art etc. The preschool have fun classes every week like music, dance and happy feet class and monthly programs like parent night out, or a special visitor like the book mobile or a magician or baby kangaroo and horses (they will come in the next two days). Tried to circumvent the IEP process by trying to reach out to the care team to gain a recommendation that supported their goal of kicking my kid out. When that failed the principal lied about what the care team recommended. Bullied, harassed, and finally attempted to blackmail my family into voluntarily pulling my kid out in the last few months of the school year. This behavior started escalating the day of our IEP assessment and ended in a forced reduction of service before any accommodation request was made. This was after a glowing assessment of my daughter's growth. When I made a complaint about discrimination against the Preschool Director they declined to investigate without so much as a call to discuss my concerns.

I think Cooperative preschools are great and they are especially wondeful for parents who either are anxious about sending their kids out in the world or they want to keep a closer eye on them. At this age they mostly learn through play and that is what is encouraged in the classroom. They also learn to clean up after themselves, how to be a good friend to their peers, and beginning stages of conflict resolution. They have outdoor time everyday and have opportunities to explore. We have watched our son grow, develop, and mature during his first year of preschool and have confidence that when it is time to move on to Kindergarten that he will be ready.
