I visited…read morespecifically to get a passport photo for an expedited renewal, assuming a store advertising this service would have the proper tools and trained staff. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. A week after submitting my application, I received a letter stating the photo did not meet requirements--specifically, the face size wasn't within the required 1 to 1 3/8 inches (attached). I returned to the store to request a retake or a refund. They assured me they could take a compliant photo, but after 20 minutes and six failed attempts, they still couldn't get it right. They seemed unsure how far the camera should be from my face, and their equipment didn't allow them to digitally zoom or resize the image. The face size was either too small or too large every time. Eventually, they offered a refund. I ended up going to CVS, where I could take the photo on my phone, and their system resized it correctly. They even provided a certificate verifying the photo met passport standards. Unfortunately, the expedited fee I paid for the passport processing was wasted, and I had to pay again to mail a new photo. It's shocking that a store offering a "professional" passport photo service can't deliver a basic, compliant image.

I live in Richland, Washington but my 'go to' camera store and person is in Avon, Ohio because of their knowledge, quality and fair pricing along with incredible service. I've purchased a couple of lens' from Matt and other photography accessories. Last year I rented some lenses from them and it was a very easey-peasey process. If you are interested in photography, they have classes and will also have equipment you can rent for the class. This business seems new, but has great potential. Returned the box unopened. They still charged me the 15% restocking fee, noting that I "tampered" with the label and then claimed that the lens itself had wear on the back from being used. I did not even open the box, much less use the lens. Very disappointing customer service experience. I'm not the first person to have reported that the actual item being returned did not match their claims about the item being returned.

I had done a bit of research online ahead of time, but wanted to talk through it with someone and get a better sense of feel and how it works/looks in person. Ended up walking out with a used Sony Rx10 iii in excellent condition and associated accessories (bag, extra battery, SD card, card reader, lens protector) and technicalllly under the budget I had stated... :) So far so good! A couple days after this purchase, I ended up going back to upgrade the bag to a slightly larger one that could hold some additional items. Now technicallllly slightly over budget lol but I'm happy about my items so far and the customer service/help!
