TLDR took my laptop to Arbor Computers for webcam issue, they told me it was the motherboard and…read morenot worth fixing, returned my laptop with screen falling off and put together incorrectly. I gave them a chance to fix it, they returned the computer still broken and now with cracks in the casing. Now having the time where I did not need the laptop for a while and scared of further damage, I took it to a different store. Here were some of the damages incurred under Arbor Computers care: -Broken backplate -Broken bottom plate -Missing screws -Screen detached and held in place by super thick double sided tape -Damaged cables The business that fixed the damages said they had never seen anything like it and were baffled how Arbor Computers had cocked up such a simply job so badly. They also fixed the camera Arbor Computers deemed unfixable without a $700 motherboard replacement; the motherboard was not the issue, not even close. Once again, if you value your electronics do not take it here, especially not a gaming laptop. They have no idea what they are doing and have no care for client's property.

I had a huge shipment of a bunch of stuff from my parents house in Ann Arbor that I was shipping to California. Everything from antique heavy AF mirrors and artwork that had been passed down in my family to a basket of notes from me in 7th grade. It was a hot summer day and all I wanted to do was to unload this stuff and get to the lake house! I created a section of my stuff to ship in the back of his store and just left it and he was going to provide a quote. NOTHING was packed. My last words to him were, just pack everything so it doesn't break and ship it slowly which I thought it would be less expensive. He provided my a quote within hours, and while I gulped at the price, I knew it was fair. He also said it would be cheaper to send on a palette and deliver to a work address. So we did that as well. Four months later, I am finally getting around to unwrapping the shipment and I am so impressed --it must have taken him HOURS to pack. It was pro job.
