It had a nice flaky crust, and the chicken filling had good flavor, although it was a little on the dry side. My daughter didn't share her cinnamon swirl, but she assured me that it was good. After finishing my empanada, I moved on to my coffee and thought it was excellent. It opened with a touch of bitterness before settling into a smooth, rich coffee flavor that I really enjoyed. During the entire time we were there, we were the only people in the shop, and the two employees working were incredibly friendly. My coffee ended up tasting really good. The brown sugar added some sweetness while still allowing the coffee to shine through. It was deep and rich, and honestly had more coffee flavor than most lattes I have had in a while. My wife also enjoyed her coffee, and my twins were happy with what they ordered. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future.
