They had lots of free activities for kids like graffiti name plates, sand art, and bubbles. I bought a nice abstract painting here. Parking and the festival are completely free! Overall, I recommend this art festival.

One of the smaller festivals, but perhaps the most MARTA accessible, I really enjoy getting to walk…read moreover to this one. The vendors aren't the same ones you see at Inman, Va-Hi, and Dogwood, which is a very welcome change for me! There's so much to look at here along with music and food, and I loved that the area was easily transformed to include plenty of seating for people to stop and have a bite. You don't see that at many of the other festivals. If you have kids, there's even an area set up by Binders (you know, quality art supplies) for kids to play in and get creative. There's a wide variety of things for kids to work with and participate in, so don't hesitate to let your little ones dabble in some paint. So while it's not as huge as the other festivals, it's got a real community vibe to it that I absolutely love. A real gem in a sea of festivals this city hosts... oh yeah, this one also picks October as it's home (usually over my birthday). If you've ever been drenched in sweat wandering the other festivals, come out and enjoy the cool, crisp air and smells of autumn while checking out all the art!

Every year I look forward to the Yellow Daisy Festival and this year was no different. The festival…read moreis a four day event. My family and I have been coming to the this festival for over 10 years now. So it's a tradition for us. This festival has been voted one of the top arts and craft shows in the nation. There's always music playing from bandsl One of my favorite booths to go to is the Bubba's Sweet Tea, I bought a tin mug years ago and bring it back every year for a refill of sweet tea for only a dollar. There's plenty booths that sell food and snacks. There's lots of things to see, unique crafts, scented handmade candles, handmade soaps wood crafts, etc. I've made friends with a few of the vendors, we may not remember each other's names but we definitely recognize each other from year to year. It's four days of wonderful fun, rain or shine it's going on. One of my favorite times is when it rained cats and dogs, it did not stop the fun one bit. There's plenty of well organized parking all over the park. Lots of police officers directing traffic. I feel very safe even though there's huge crowds of people everywhere. There are free shuttle busses transporting people to their cars the entire time. There's live music too! You can come here and load up on kettle popcorn, Greek gyros, ice cream and gifts for everyone! I can't wait til next year's festival.

Not too crowded, we went in a Sunday. Lots of different types of Art and Jewelery to choose from…read more Good selection of food vendors as well.
