We've been using Out U Go for 5 years and have had only wonderful experiences. We've used both the Downers Grove and Naperville locations for dog walking and occasional overnight stays when we've been out of town. What I love: - having a consistent 1-2 people always visiting my dog but having back up options handled and ready if our regular gal is unavailable. - we get a photo and nice message summary of the visit with our dog and it's a highlight of my day to hear that she had a good walk and see her cute smile! - email communication and coordination has always been so easy. You can actually get a hold of the team and aren't stuck in an AI chatbot loop. - it's easy to cancel or add on walks/visits! Truly no complaints and everyone feels vetted and trustworthy. We needed a dog walker due to a new job that took me out of the house. A friend recommended Out-u-Go. I didn't realize at the time that OUG had different areas of service, so I was a bit nervous...after all this is my "baby"! =) We really couldn't have gotten better service! We are so lucky to have our walker, Jeanine. She loves our little guy and leaves the cutest comments on his daily report card. I was lucky enough to meet her one day and we were so grateful that our dog loved Jeanine as much as she loved him. They have been fantastic helping with my two dogs. I often have trips that are planned or canceled at the last minute and they have been great about making last minute arrangements and being understanding if I need to cancel. I have an anxious and grumpy dog and they are understanding if she just wants to hang out instead of walk outside. They make the whole experience so easy. read more

I am not a "regular" user of Out-U-GO! as my fiance and I have schedules that accomodate our 3 (almost 4) year old Chihuahua, Bacci but we definitely use them when my schedule gets hectic during tax deadlines. Bacci loves his dog walker Chris! Bacci is very timid and weary of strangers but seems to warm up to Chris after a few minutes and the realization that he is there to give him an afternoon stroll. I personaly have never met Chris, but Bacci definitely gives him the "ok". The ease of scheduling his visits online and the pup report card after the visit all make Out-U-GO! the right choice for us. I couldnt be happier and I know Bacci is a very happy pup even when I am working long hours. I would definitely recommend their services and will continue to use them! read more

I have been using Out U Go for about 3 years now at multiple locations. They have expertly cared for my unmanageable big dogs, left great updates about the time they've spent, they've fed fish (salt water) for us and also have cared for our cat while we've been away. Bruce and Dillan, my dogs, are crazy happy when they see a dog walker - and I truly feel sorry thinking what the walker must go through putting leashes on (each one tries to be first or they tag team and while you're putting one collar on the other is jumping at your face to give kisses). I've experienced multiple walkers going above and beyond for us, such as wiping paws and picking up newspapers on driveway. Keep up the great work! read more

Horrible and disappointing experience. In December 2017, I made a last minute request to OUG to find dog care at my house (walker three times a day and someone to sleep over from Jan 1 to Jan 6). The manager tried to accommodate me last minute and said she couldn't help despite many emails and calls, and that she could help me in 2018 if I called in advance.... So, I of course called in the first week of January to book dog care in December 2018. I was given the run around and told that only permanent / current customers could be confirmed, but the manager would call me back. No call back after four weeks. I was willing to pay anything as I need care throughout the entire summer as well as in December during my trip. In short, money isn't any option - I just want a company that I can trust and cares about my family and dogs. Out-U-Go doesn't meet this criteria. If they didn't want my business they should just say so, or otherwise name their price. Also, how about a call back from their manager? I highly doubt they can't find someone 11 months in advance to watch my dogs for a week, and doubt they can't name a price. The 2 stars is for the manager trying to help me in 2017; for 2018, they are at negative starts and I don't trust them. If they can't service and help a new customer, or communicate with them, how would they be watching a dog (another family member)? read more

I have trusted my cat and dog (while he was living) to the loving caregivers at Out U Go for years. I always have complete confidence that they will care for my pets as if they were their own. I have tried many individuals and pet-sitting services over the years and I am very comfortable in saying that Out-You-Go is the BEST!!!! I have no qualms about leaving my pets (lots of them- dogs, birds, fish and cats) to go on vacation, because I know that they are in excellent hands. Their service from the time you make the reservation, to the time you get home is very professional and comforting, and their billing is reasonable and professional. When we come home from vacation the cages and bowls are always cleaner than when we left them. When we came home from our last trip it was so clean that my husband remarked that if we win the lotto that we would hire Annie to come by every day :) Our sitter leaves us a detailed note about what our animals have been up to while we were gone. We recently had a minor scare when one of our birds broke a blood feather while we were gone- Out-You-Go called and followed up with emails and questions. They handled the situation very well. I am a very satisfied customer and I have been telling all my friends about their services. I adopted my first dog by myself/aside from childhood pets last year, so I'm kind of a crazy dog mom. I'm so glad I came across this company, and I can't say enough good things. They schedule a meet and greet before the dog walks, which I really appreciate, and every email/confirmation/etc. is personalized to you and your dog. They also leave an adorable doggie journal entry each time they visit (and give you a reusable one!) that's so stinking cute/helpful. Fair prices as well. The dog walkers are wonderful. Each onnd they've given us ( and there have been four), has been prompt, loving with our dig, and skilled. Our dog takes awhile to warm up to each one, but once he gets to know them he gets very excited when they come. This is a great agency, because if the dedication of the dog sitters. Like the other reviewers, I really can't say enough good things about Out-U-Go! I've never had a walker before going to them and after talking with Aschley for our initial meet-n-greet I felt confident that I was leaving my Jake in good hands. While I've never personally met my walkers Marci and Chris, in our exchanges via notes and report cards, I can tell they adore my baby boy as much as I do. :) I love the report card ... it's a great way to keep me informed as well as provide some entertainment on his shenanigans of the day. Also great is that their flexibility to take a same day cancellation (provided it's early enough in the morning) as well as taking on my parents' Sophie-girl (who comes with a laundry list of instructions) without issue. I feel like the cost for the services they provide is absolutely reasonable and I'm sad to say that I'm moving out of their servicing area. I'm very hopeful that they'll soon expand further west - I'd go back with them in an instant.
