Prompt and professional, but project overbid at my expense. I had an uprooted tree from a storm and wanted it removed quickly. I didn't get any other bids so that's on me. The issue is that I was bid a price based off of their employees having to climb. I was told I'd receive a 20% discount if the lift could be used, as that'd reduce the labor costs. What ultimately happened was the lift was brought, but not even taken off the trailer as no one had to climb, they removed the tree from the ground. I asked for the 20% discount but was only offered 10%. By my logic, they could've parked the lift next to the tree and not even use it, and I would've received the full 20% discount. I'm all for efficiency but I feel in this case their efficiency was to my detriment. Having to pay more for what feels like less left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

contracted to remove two trees for $6000. They removed one tree and only trimmed the other one. They claim it took longer than contracted for so it will cost another $3000. to finish the job. The work they did was excellent but only half done. Classic bait and switch with the salesman promising what he could not deliver. read more

After multiple rounds of back to back severe thunderstorms, I had a tree branch that needed to be trimmed. With the branch being higher up in a large Ash tree in my backyard and caught in some of my neighbor's power lines, I needed a professional to help me out. I received quotes from several trimming services and they were all over double the price. The Vital crew showed up and knocked everything out in no time. They removed a tree and grinder the stump all the way down. We hired Vital Tree Service to take down a 100-year-old elm in our backyard. The tree was both very large and very near the garage.
