Ever since Covid, I've just not gone to the movie theaters. I just think the experience overall…read moreit's expensive, etc. and I'd rather enjoy it at my home. With that, I recently saw the Devil wears Prada two and sheep detectives. Both times were very good experiences. I will say overall the experience is expensive for both tickets and concessions. We ordered our tickets online for both events. And we waited in line during Prada to get popcorn and beverages. The second time we went to see the sheep detectives and I ordered tickets online and also pre-ordered popcorn and beverages. Once your ticket is scanned it triggers a notification to. I'm assuming the concession stand to bring you the items. I think I scan my ticket around 7:15 PM for 730 show. I was one of three people in the movie theater. It took 15+ minutes just to get popcorn and a soda delivered to my seat not a dealbreaker, but I usually prefer to have those items even when the coming attraction start. I thought the theater was clean both times. The sound was good. I like that you can reserve the seats. During the sheep movie before it started, I did order a hotdog and again that took about 13 minutes to get. I get it. I'm not the only one ordering food. I just wish that part of the process would be a little more expedited. The popcorn tasted fresh. It's a bummer that it's Pepsi and also you can't do refills like at a regal theater with the freestyle Coke machines. Plenty of parking out front and then there's a parking garage right below the theater that brings you right up to it. Again, I'm not a huge movie or much anymore, but if there was something that caught my eye, probably would return here.

This Metrolux theatre is dated and behind the times when it comes to the new "high end" type…read moretheatre. For a theatre charging premium prices like this one does - it should be a premium experience. That's not really the case here. First, they charge fairly high prices for drinks and popcorn. It's eight dollars for an ICEE, but they don't offer refills. That's not the case at other similar chains. They also don't have a system for quick refills for people watching a movie for things they do refill. I missed almost 10 minutes waiting in line to get more soda and popcorn. Second, the seats in the theater don't recline and inexplicably have a very powerful seat heater. Not really comfortable either. Third, the carpet is pretty dingy and again, looks dated. Overall we probably won't be back here. We didn't feel like this was a good value at all and other locations are much nicer.

It really enhanced the overall experience and made the movie much more enjoyable. The theater itself is clean, modern, and well-maintained, which made the visit feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. The seating was spacious with good legroom, and the layout made it easy to get in and out without feeling crowded. The staff were friendly and efficient, and everything from ticketing to concessions was smooth. Lines moved quickly, and the employees were helpful when I had questions. The concessions were well-stocked, and everything I ordered was fresh. Parking at the Kaleidoscope center was easy and convenient, which made the whole experience even more stress-free. Overall, I would definitely come back and recommend this theater to anyone looking for a reliable and comfortable place to watch a movie in the Mission Viejo area.

I've known for many years that this theater was there but I had never actually been. I've always…read moredone the Foothill Ranch Regal which unfortunately is no longer there. The Regal inside of the Kaleidoscope isn't bad...but it's not great. Let me explain. Honestly, the location is not bad. It really is the management of the building. For example, the escalators that never ever work. That is a huge turn-off coming here and it's ALWAYS been this way. I've had multiple orthopedic injuries so walking up and down the steep escalators steps are no fun. I'm only mentioning that, because you should be aware in case you or someone in your party have difficulty with mobility. From what I was able to see walking in, the lobby was decent. You can tell it is a much smaller venue than other movie theaters. The concession stand is smaller but offers plenty of candies, drinks, memorabilia and a butter dispenser off to the side. Walking into the theater itself, it's not too small, but also not very large. The seats that I happened to choose were really nice. The theater was clean. The reclining chairs were super comfortable. The screen looked great. Sound was great. I had no issues with the theater that we were in. The bathroom. The women's restroom looked clean and decent, however, they really could use a little more lighting in there. It was slightly dim and it gave a little bit of an eerie vibe. I did not realize this until I went to go wash my hands. It looks like they worked on the restroom except for the sink. The sink had cracks against the wall like it was about ready to come off. The faucets were old and just needed to be revamped. Everything else in the bathroom looked nice. At least for the bathroom on the left side when you enter the theater. Would I come back here? Sure. If the other locations I wanted to go to no longer have slots available for purchase, I would. I have Regal points and I can buy Regal tickets for a discounted rate at Costco which is $39.99 for $50.00. Sounds like a win to me.
