Geat experience, highly recommend!! This past weekend we booked an Escape Bus for my daughter's 13th birthday party, and it was a great hit with her and her guests! We had considered doing an escape room at a traditional brick and mortar location, but after learning of the Escape Bus through some friends who had also hired them, the convenience of them bringing the escape room to us was appealing, saving us time, and allowing us to get more party activities done by cutting out the drive time. Daniel the driver/ escape room operator was very friendly and ensured that all the guests had a great experience. Jonathan (and Tyler), who I believe are the owners, were super kind and helpful all along the way from our first inquiry to our followup communications and scheduling, and even after the completion of our Eacape Room adventure. We had many questions and they patiently and professionally addressed all of them. For anyone looking to plan a fun party for kids or adults, I'd highly recommend The Escape Bus as a great option where they bring the party to you! Thanks to their staff!!! ... and until next time..!

I hired the escape bus for my sons 10th birthday party and it was a huge hit with all of the guests! From the beginning, the communication with Jonathan was great. He responded right away and answered all of my questions clearly. Booking and making payment was super easy to do. The bus arrived on time and it was clean. Our game master, Bryson was very helpful and such a nice guy. We had kids in all age ranges and a game for the adults too. Every single person loved the game and had so much fun playing. My guests couldn't stop talking about what a fun idea this was to have an escape bus at the party. I would definitely recommend them for any event!

Locked away FOREVER, but had too much fun along the way!

Having played 104 rooms thus far (Escape Bus being said 104th room) it is becoming less frequent for a room to REALLY wow me. I've been close to playing this room in the past, but had not become a reality until Midsummer Scream 2017! I finally got my chance! I experienced their 15 minute version (compared to the normal 40 min version) and IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Sure, I would have loved to have played the full version, but it did not miss a beat in this condensed version. The technology, the immersion, the flow, the adventure was breathtaking. I couldn't help but pause from time to time to bask in the awe of satisfaction of the things I got to experience in this room. It fits 6 people max and I got paired with strangers (this was the case for the convention experience since they needed to get a lot of people through the bus in one day). Made some new friends, but are now hanging out locked away forever in Fletcher Penitentiary. The owners and operators are fine young gentlemen who are the masterminds behind this masterpiece. Thank you Tyler and Jonathan! I will definitely recommend this as a FANTASTIC idea to rent for any event you can think of AND they drive to you! Catch them if you can!

    WINNERS!!!

This Escape Bus was a perfect team building corporate event. We had 6 teams of 4 playing 20 minute games. We were timed so the winning team had bragging rights all day in the office. It was such a BLAST. I've personally never have done an escape room. I thought it was great and so much fun. Everyone in the office talked about it all day. There wasn't one person that didn't have a great time. Such a good team building event. Bryson was a great host. Jonathan was great to work with and answered all our questions and emails promptly. I highly recommend it to any company or even birthday party.

I booked The Escape Bus for my son's 13th birthday party at our home. It was an amazing and awesome adventure for the boys, they were still talking about it hours later! Tyler and Jonathan were great, and they were able to make adjustments so it worked well for the younger age group. We divided into two teams, the 1st team escaped with 30 seconds to spare and the 2nd team didn't, although they gave them a few extra seconds/minutes to allow them to escape. Also, the 1st team was able to watch the 2nd team on video which was very entertaining! The bus is actually super high tech, challenging and the music and sound effects added to the entire experience. My son has been to a couple other escape rooms in Orange County, and he rated this experience well above the others. I highly recommend this adventure, and would like to use it for a company team building event in the future. Tyler and Jonathan were super helpful, professional and so easy to work with, what a great experience for all!

This is a Scooby-Doo inspired escape room with a secondary "whodunit" murder theme. We were greeted by our game-master Theresa who was very friendly and energetic. I won't give it away, but this room has one of the coolest starts. It has to do with how and where you watch the introductory video before beginning the actual room. We all loved it and it sets up the adventure perfectly. Everybody gets a flashlight for the first part which is dimly lit but not dark. The garden area in front of the manor and the interior are both decorated in an amazingly immersive way. The interior is not a physically large space, but it feels huge. They did a great job of putting a lot of different areas, rooms, and floors in an area that is not big as it seems. There is a great variety of puzzle types including locks, keys, mechanical puzzles, physical puzzles, and some other unique puzzles. Various sound effects play in the background, and a chime goes off every 15 minutes to help you keep track of time. At least one person in your group will have to do some stair climbing in more than one place, and do one other light physical activity. A group of four was perfect for this room. We are all pretty experienced, and split up at times. The puzzles are not overly difficult, but there are a lot. Everything flowed very well, and we all got into a great grove. For the first time in a while, we didn't need any clues and finished with twelve minutes left. Once you've solved all the puzzles and gathered all the clues about who the murderer is, you have to identify which of the three suspects it is to finally escape. You can make multiple guesses, and it was a good final brain teaser to complete an excellent room. We had a lot of fun doing this one, and it was definitely one of our favorites out of the nearly 60 escape rooms we've done. They have one other easier pirate themed room, and a third room is set to open soon.

The game guides and staff were very friendly and fun and really sold the whole experience! I'd say that while the use of the space was creative, it definitely made the place feel very cramped. The scale change from downstairs to upstairs rooms was rough and the slide left most of my party pointing at me to make the plunge. If something could be changed it would be the reality and conclusion. I think playing a little more into a realistic whodunnit instead of a campy goofy one would add more desire to reach a correct outcome which by the end I was just saying names because nothing really stood out as THE answer.

She didn't rush us out at all (as some escape room places do), she was extremely patient and kind, and she went over all of the clues that we didn't get to solve when our timer ended. Horror themed immersive theatre experience…read more Ghost Hunter by Escape Room Era is more like being in a scary movie with actors, than an actual escape room. When they call this an "immersive theatre show," they mean it. This is a huge 3500 square foot location, and this lasts about 90 minutes long. While they say this is for groups of 4-12 players, it seems like 6(ish) people makes for the best experience here. Having too many people can get crowded, and having too few people means you may miss some of the interactive elements. Apparently there's an "extreme mode" where the actors are allowed to use tasers on you. We declined adding that to our experience. PROPS: To Kes, Wren, and Arshia, the team that was here when we did this experience SLOPS: It can feel strange to just wait out in front of the building, until someone comes to get you and start the experience.
