Walking in I didn't get that bbq vibe right off the bat. Sure there were some sauces and ribs for sale but I was kind of left wondering if this was a bbq place. Our waiter / cook/ bartender had us seated in the wide open dining area and drinks moving in no time, we placed our food order shortly afterwards. The misses got the nachos, the chips were probably the best part of the dish, the queso was on the bland side and the chicken ... well some was tender and some really not so much. Kind of in impressed. The little yelper was down for her usual tenders, there was two large hand breaded tenders in the basket, and some fries. The tender breading wasn't a hit with her but that chicken was better than the nachos meat. After some peeling she ate it. The fries though, definitely could have used a little more time down, the weren't really crispy and had a hot sog to them. I got the smoked wings. Hellfire and rust belt. Of the two rubs the rust belt was the sweetest and overall best , but I'm a fan of spice and the hellfire was definitely the winner. The chicken wings had the same Kind of inconsistency . Some were perfectly cooked, others a bit dry. But their bleu cheese really was the standout for me. As a top wing reviewer in 2025 I've had a lot of wings and bleu cheese. This I would probably give a 7/10. Definitely saved the day with the wings. Underdog was a bit underwhelming but service really saved the day here. He was attentive, helpful And overall just great. The food however, definitely not what we had hoped for.

Where were the butcher block tables? I asked if the restaurant was under new ownership ... yes and today was opening day. Aught oh ... Of course there were some glitches. No biggies. My "chicken fingers/french fries only" guest ordered the mac and cheese. I ordered the house salad, 1/2 rack, and cornbread. Head lettuce was the main component of the salad. The Chipotle salad dressing had some unexpected zing. The 1/2 rack was seasoned well. The additional bbq sauce was chilled from the fridge so was a mismatch to the hot ribs. A steak knife would have made it easier to cut the ribs apart. The mac and cheese was over the top delicious. My 8 yr companion actually went and told the chef how good it was ... then ordered 3 servings for takeout. It was packaged for the 2 hr trip back to Pittsburgh. So once they get over opening glitches, this restaurant will be a destination for bbq. Looking forward to bring my 8 yr old companion's family back for more mac and cheese and ribs.

We were hungry and looking for good local food. A quick Yelp search led us here. The place doesn't look like much from the parking lot, but don't let that deter you. When you walk in you walk towards the back and order at the counter. They give you a number tent which you take to your table so they can find you to deliver your food. The menu is extensive so take your time before heading to the counter. It was a beautiful day so we ate outside. The outdoor area is unique and whimsical. A portion of the outdoor area is under a tent-like structure which would be useful when the weather doesn't cooperate. I ordered the Seasonal Wiener: American AF. My wife ordered: Don't Hassle the Hoff but held the kraut. Both were excellent (hers was better). They also have an extensive beer menu. Service is friendly and prices are reasonable. I highly recommend Lucky Louie's!

That's all you taste is smoke. I am aware that it's bbq and that the food would have been smoky but this is way too much. Even my father who is an avid meat smoker agreed. There were also 5 out of 8 who ended up with food poisoning. 10/10 not a good experience. Based off of the sickness alone I would not go back. My father called and left a detailed message just letting them know that 5 of us got sick. Last I knew he hadn't heard back from them. The item in common that us sick people had was the brisket.

Nice touch of the butcher paper. The sausage had great spice & smoke. The pulled pork was sort of an after thought as the sausage portion was good, the pork could have been a little more abundant. The décor is nice, with a hand-painted mural in the back room that tells the story of the Que/Dude. Several pieces of art/photography on the walls. I expect it to evolve . . . I enjoyed the sandwich enough that I got a pound of pulled pork to go (now in the freezer after a suitable sampling) one thing I like is that the pulled pork is just that. It comes with sauce on the side although. The smoke and flavor of this pork is excellent and did not require any sauce to be thoroughly enjoyed. I will be going back soon as there are sooo many items on their menu that I need to try. Which includes the ice cream!

My server allowed me to sub mashed potatoes instead of the day's veggie, which I appreciated. I was excited to try "blueberry glazed" wings which, major bummer, we're seasonal. I got the sweet-hot. The crispy cauliflower with the jar sweet chili sauce was probably the best thing we did have. You can get brunch all day so, I ordered the hipster toast, and I was pictured cat fished. Mine was nothing like the picture, although I appreciate they didn't build the toast for take out and allowed me to do that myself. Still, there was maybe 7 little little cubes of avocado, no pickled onions, no spiced pecans, no parmesan cheese. What I did get was a piece of toast with goat cheese, then a box of arugula, 7 pieces of small small avocado, candied bacon pieces, radishes and heirloom tomatoes. Basically a 17 plus salad on bread. Totally a waste and not worth it. I will say though, the cilantro lime vinaigrette was delicious. But spending over 90 bucks and only enjoying a vingerette and cauliflower, won't have be coming back. But as we were paying, the waitress came out and said "sorry about your experience but it's not my fault", which was really unnecessary.
