When I said I was paying with my card, the person working there looked at me like I was stupid and went on a weird hypothetical rant about how he'd lose money if he accepted card payments. He even asked what I'd do if all systems shut down and we couldn't rely on technology which was completely unnecessary and made no sense whatsoever. He then asked me and the people I was with if none of us had three dollars in cash, which was honestly something I've never experienced at any business before. If there's a card minimum, just say so or put up a sign. It really isn't that hard. The whole interaction was uncomfortable and off-putting. On top of that, we overheard him loudly giving a random kid what sounded like awful work advice basically encouraging him to expect being yelled at on the job. The conversation was so loud we could hear it throughout the store. Not appropriate, and not something customers should have to listen to. So ya, put up a sign.

We picked up a couple of things including a new board game and this office possum who I am convinced will make me love my office. I was also impressed that he had older sets of cards, even rare Unhinged cards and an old 7th Edition Fat Pack that came with a novel. We made a pretty big purchase, so he gave us a free D20 as a thank-you! He has all sorts of collectibles, including comic books, action figures, baseball cards, and standard comic book shop fare.
