I've only been here once, but would return. To set things straight, ALL bars in this neck of the woods have MEMBERSHIPS. It is a law. Once you pay for a membership (a couple o'bucks) you can come and go for free. This is not a cover charge, nor are "regulars" treated special. That's just how it is. Drinks were a moderate price. We went here last night (1/4/25) for my cousins birthday and the music was great! They played music from the 90s, 2000s, some current stuff. From country to Spanish to hip hop. Never a bad song. I spent about $35 for 6 drinks which is pretty damn good to me. The bartenders are great! The only thing it is a little warm so I wish they knew how to turn on the fans all over the place, we asked, they didn't know how to. read more

Great country bar (35-65*/-). Diamond pool tables. Drinks are a lil pricey, but the atmosphere and staff make up for it. The food is restaurant quality. Waaaay above standard bar fare. Pretty decent sized well placed dance floor and a stage for live performances. Performers have been impressive too say the least. Friendly bartenders complete the package. I like this bar most of the time, even though they allow smoking, which is disgusting and I hate going home & taking a shower and washing my clothes. However, the food, in particular the "brisket" nachos was some of the worst ever. I wanted them to be good but it wasn't real brisket & I'm not even sure it was real meat. First time out. Had a great time dancing and food was good. Owner made the night shitty - asked for DJ to play a song - owner refused because of set playlist. Then we went to take pictures and owner cleaned off our table with our jackets, food, my eyeglasses sitting on table and acted shitty when we came back to table and caught her in the act... totally ruined the night and the atmosphere! Good drink prices in a classic country dive dance-hall. On weekdays the locals can be a pretty off-putting territorial crowd, but that goes away in the crowded weekend nights. Make sure you have a Designated Driver, because it is off-the-beaten-track! Hard to find, and hard to get home from! read more

On my quest to try all the bars in the DFW area, I was told I should check out Outlaws. Despite my reservations of spending a few hours in a country bar, I decided to give it a try. First, if you try and find this place using Google Maps on your cell phone, forget it, you'll end up on the wrong side of I20 several miles in the wrong direction. Make sure you know where you are going first! Google Maps online seems to have it properly located. The outside looks like a big barn and inside, well, surprisingly nice. Mostly wood throughout, gives that country feel. There's a stage at the far end of the building and a long bar down the right side. I was looked after all night by Angela who, despite being rushed off her feet most of the night, made sure my bottle was never empty without offering a new one. The live band wasn't so loud that it basted your ears and between sets the jukebox played some definitely not country music, so this really is a place for all types of people who just want to relax and hang out. Several pool tables were available too. Smoking is allowed but there were plenty of fans and the building large enough that it really didn't bother me. I didn't notice until the next day that my clothes were smokey so wasn't much of a big deal but I still prefer non-smoking places. Over the bar were 5 TVs all showing the same thing, that ended up being lacrosse! I was standing near where the waitresses come to pick up their orders, but none of them bothered to say hi or anything while I was waiting, could have been a little friendlier and engaging which is why I'm knocking a star off, and for the smoking and owners not making sure Google maps the place properly. In summary, great friendly service from Angela, plus plenty of eye candy. Other staff could have been friendlier, and a bit too smokey for my tastes in the end. If you're a country boy wanting to do some boot scoot'n and cig smoking, this is your place. If you like to lean back with a beer and watch some eye candy, you can do that too (yeah, I can do stereotypes!). read more

This bar discriminates against outsiders. I was here for a wedding and went here to have a drink the lady at the front desk/the owner let all the locals in for free when I questioned why I was carded & charged she spit in my face when she talked and couldn't provide stickers/stamps etc that the locals had been in earlier. Spend your money on going to town and getting treated better then spending your hard earned money at an establishment that doesn't appreciate you & Isnt worth it. Come to town in dallas where you're appreciated & it's more fun!! read more
