Garlic knots were missing the garlic. They were delivered hot but the marina was refrigerator cold. The migas part of my plate was delicious(price on menu to add meat to the item was less than the what was charged on the receipt). The breakfast potatoes for 2 of us that ordered them were DRY, over seasoned, and COLD. Obviously it was brunch being served but the potatoes were not fresh. Not pictured was a hamburger with sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries were overly salty, but they gladly made a fresh batch with no salt. This was our 3rd time here and probably our last. The first 2 times were amazing but now not worth the time to drive here or the $ for less than stellar food and service. There was nobody at the hostess station and several separate groups of people left after not being seated. Our bill was $74-ish for 4 meals. Pepperoni pizza was not worth the $17 and was not tasty. I have been wanting to try Kearney's for a long time. We use to go here years ago when it was a old feed store. They have redone it into a really cute restaurant. There is a main dining room and another dining room in the back where the large bar is. There's also a cute outdoor patio. Went for lunch with a girlfriend. They make excellent Bloody Mary's. So good we each had two! Their menu is large with soups, sandwiches, paninis and entrees. We both had the large Caesar salad. I had shrimp on mine which were cooked perfectly and my girlfriend got the chicken on hers. Both were excellent. I definitely want to go back for dinner. Also very good service. read more

We asked to sit on the empty patio and were told no because they had a 20-top coming with a reservation. There were many more tables outside. Even under the covered patio there is more than enough seating. I have been here before and we have sat as part of a large party under that patio with plenty of other people around us. I think they just didn't want to have to walk outside. The 20-top was still not there when we left. So they sat us at a table inside that was sticky. Like our menus were sticking to it. We stayed and ate. Everyone said their food was ok. We have eaten here several times before - my family does bluebonnet pics for my daughter's April birthday nearby every year. Driving by, you always see this place packed so I finally decided to dine in. I came for brunch and we had about a 35 min wait. When we got seated, I got to see how huge this space is. They have an outdoor patio with a playing area, which is cool and will be useful during the summer time. The menu options are pretty solid. I ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken Sandwich w/ Sweet Potato Fries. I got my sandwich plain because I don't care for decorations, but I added a Fried Egg White because #protein. WORST experience EVER! Went to have dinner with friends to discuss losing a family member only to be met with our waitresses mommy chewing us out for staying past closing time. We had no idea the restaurant was closed because there were still people at other tables and karaoke still going on in the bar. Our waitresses mom had been drinking in the bar and she went and got her to come and yell at us to leave. Her mom approached our table and began chewing us out and yelling at us that we needed to leave. We had children with us and she continued her rant as our children walked by her even yelling at them on our way out. Not only was the experience awful, but the food wasn't even good. Tough chicken fried steak nasty mashed potatoes and terrible service! We only come to this restaurant to support local business, but that stops tonight! The food was good, and the service was amazing. I did receive a dirty Fork, fortunately I was eating a hamburger and fries so I didn't really require one. But if I had been eating something that did require a fork I would have been pretty upset and would have lowered my review to a 3-star instead of four. Of course one could argue why didn't you just ask for a clean one, well I shouldn't have to, the silverware should come out clean. Mehhhhhhhh I have seen this place a few times on my weekend drives and convinced my husband to skip on our usual and try this place out. Not even 1 minute into sitting down I asked to leave, my husband said no (side eye). It took maybe 5-6 min for our waitress to notice that we were there. I should mention that the place was literally dead. When she came up to the table there was no name given, have you been here before, this is wat I suggest. Instead it sounded and looked like she just woke up. I placed an order of the brisket nachos. The meat was dry like it had been microwaved, but the queso was pleasantly decent. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak because the photos looked like it would be a decent size portion. WRONG. It looked and tasted like what you would get back in the elementary cafeteria. Our waitress did come around and talk once she saw that we were finished just to let us know that its been dead all week and she gets maybe three customers a day. Still doesn't excuse mid service. I have to lower my rating here, because unfortunately this place has gone quite down hill. I've been here previously a couple of times and it was pretty good, just slow service. But came here again and the food just wasn't as good and very par, and still slow service. They use to have a butcher shop next door and it closed down. The meat was not very good. I got chicken fried steak and I was told after I sent it back that they ran out of cube steak and had to use a different cut of meat and hand tenderize it. It was not very good. The brunch menu is great and the drinks were good. I was surprised at the price since it wasn't that expensive. I had a couple of margaritas and the chicken fried steak and eggs. Honestly super cute spot for happy hour! We went for a retirement and the patio was super nice! The frozen margs (regular) are super yummy, but the strawberry flavored one was insanely sweet. Fried pickles were fried well, but quite salty! Still yum though! read more

Our waitress brought out a sample of the mushroom soup and that was good but more like a cream of mushroom soup so very heavy. Yardbird is really a chicken breast, so don't expect any bones. Tastes like chicken. He said he wouldn't get it again. Green Chile pork sandwich had waaaay too much fat. And the sandwich was very "wet" and hard to eat. It's a knife and fork sandwich. Chicken fried chicken for the win! It had a great, light batter and was still moist. Cajun chicken pasta was pretty good. Better spice than some other places I've tried. This is the best thing to happen to Sunnyvale! The brisket grilled sandwich is such a comfort food with the right amount of meat, cheese and bbq sauce in it! % recommend. Great local place off a major road. Planets of private parking as well as a big, shaded patio area for your social distancing needs. Inside, there is what appears like a venue room you can rent for work or personal use. The restaurant is quite large and has plenty of seating around it and it's bar. Which by the way serves $5 happy hour cocktails from 3-6pm. The food selection appeared to be shortened due to Covid, however what we had was quite delicious. I only hada bowl of tortilla soup and my husband had a burger. The meat on that burger was so delicious I highly recommend it! We scored because we were able to find local Texas wine here. Locals supporting locals is a big deal to us! They have curbside or pick up as well if you still aren't ready to get out. The restaurant is appropriately staffed and service was good. read more

We ate at kearney's last night. Up until last night the food has been really good last night it was not hot. As in the french fries weren't hot the fried shrimp plate was not hot and the shrimp was pretty bland. Wonderful! An absolute gem in a hay stack! This place is the hidden treasure of Mesquite/Sunnyvale. Excellent service, food, bar, and experience. The breading was perfection, gravy complimentary, and potatoes beautifully mashed. All entrees came with a choice of house salad, caesar salad, or cup of Tomato Bisque. I had the house salad which I didn't even touch with how filling my steak was! Also had a side of their onion rings which are the thin, Shoe String version ($5). Delicious! My friend had their Margherita Pizza ($11) which was so yummy and cheesy. We shared a bowl of their Queso which was very appetising and extra cheesy!
