I hired Ahmed after being referred by a good friend of mine. I was buying a multi family home in Jersey City. He started by inspecting the exterior of the house and took his time walking around the house. I thought he would've brought a big ladder to inspect the roof, but he actually used a drone to take pictures and inspect it. He then went inside and started with the basement inspecting the foundation and boilers. What I liked about Ahmed is he took his time and answered all my questions. As a first time home buyer, I relied on reviews and word of mouth of good skilled people from family and friends. I came across Ahmed's name on google when I was doing some research on best home inspectors servicing my area. When I called, he was responsive and answered my questions, he was communicative about potential dates and times of the inspection. I reviewed his sample report and was expecting what I read about these reviews to be true. Unfortunately, Ahmed did not do a thorough inspection for a one family house and left out some details that, not only cost me money to fix but also failed identifying certain aspects of the house that would have effected my decision making in purchasing the property and proceeding with closing. When I reached out to Ahmed about those missing details, he rudely replied to me saying that he put a general recommendation and most inspect do not inspect windows which is NOT TRUE! Then proceeded to tell me he had limited time to inspect which by the way , he is the one who placed those limitation due to over scheduling, not my fault that he didn't give himself enough time to do the job correctly. As I am now living in my new home, I am finding new things everyday and faced with comments like " was this not added in your inspection report?" I even showed 3 people that I trust the report who are home owners and they made comments about how it lacked details. I am disappointed in myself for believing the reviews and did not do more research but I am more disappointed that Ahmed treated me like I paid less then others and didn't provide a thorough inspection. Overall, I have to admit that he offered to revise the report but as you know that will not work because once the inspection report is submitted, there is no way a revised version will be accepted once the house is under attorney review. His offer was as good as nothing. I needed the job to be done correct from the first time around but we live and we learn. Do your research and don't rely on reviews. Good luck! read more

My inspector Mr. Amin was absolutely out of this world. Our inspection was in North Brunswick, and the home owner kept attempting to hide or cover up different issues that Mr. Amin discovered. His report was outstanding, very detail oriented with pictures, exactly what I was looking for and had the report to me within days of inspection. Mr. Amin also took his time going over each and every item he found and gave his opinion for potential ways to solve/fix each problem. It was also amazing that Mr. Amin was using a drone in taking pictures and pointing out items on the roof. Mr. Amin was also able to solve the reset for the electrical in the garage was from the master bathroom's electrical outlets to push the switch. I would have never known that should the power ever had gone out in the garage or needed to be reset, that the reset was in the master bedroom.
