This is the second time my family member has stayed at the Willows, and we couldn't be more…read moregrateful! After a stay at a more advanced rehab facility where she unfortunately experienced complications, we didn't hesitate to send her back to the Willows--even though it meant an hour and a half drive sometimes! The only reason she left this time was because she wanted to be closer to her children, but honestly, I've had family members in other facilities, some with more advanced programs, and none compare to the Willows. From the moment you walk in, there's never any foul odors--it's always clean and fresh. But more than that, the people here truly care! They are genuinely concerned about the health and well-being of their residents, and their communication is outstanding. For anyone looking for a place to take a loved one, I can't recommend the Willows in Valparaiso, Indiana enough. You all should be the standard for how nursing homes should operate. Thank you all so much for everything you've done for my family! ---

Our father was not being given his PT until my sibling started coming in every day to over see the PT. We would come in 2 hours after breakfast and he was still in the filthy dining area slumped over in his wheel chair with an orange juice drenched t-shirt. We came in on a holiday to find our father's mouth bloody. No one knew a thing and the next day we spoke to the DON and asked to see an incident report. There was not one??? Convenient because they documented everything he did wrong. We tried to move him to a different facility after 2 days. They red flagged him so no one else would take him. After it became apparent to us that something serious was wrong, we called 911(by the way the DON said we could not do that). According to hospital records he was severely dehydrated and severely malnourished. He also suffered permanent kidney damage due to the dehydration. I pray for those other patients who were laying in the same bed, same spot, being neglected, No one should ever be treated this way! I wish I could give negative stars

Then she was on the phone and doing something on the computer. No hello, no I'll be with you in a moment, no smile or acknowledgement. She finally turned and asked if I had an appointment. Still no anything. She may have well of been a robot. What happened to common courtesy and a polite greeting? If you are working in a public capacity you should have some common manners. Everyone else I dealt with was friendly and courteous. My appointment was handled in a professional manner in a reasonable amount of time. First impressions are important.

Lori Russ was phenomenal and the MRI techs were great... very caring, kind and very helpful !! I had an MRI done and it was a third of the cost of having it done at the hospital!!!! I have a close relative who is a radiologist and he reviewed the report and had such compliments about the radiologist report!! I RECOMMEND FUTURE DIAGNOSTICS FULLY, WHOLEHEARTEDLY AND WITHOUT RESERVATION!! Thank you to everyone who helped me while I was there. All were completely professional, medically knowledgeable and caring and kind. Will definitely go there again if I should need an MRI again!!!

So organized and detailed and if Dr Farag sees something he does an ultra sound right there and discusses the results with you right after and make a plan. I see so many recent reviews griping about the fee. Have you looked at your insurance bills with other providers after finding a potential problem. I bet you will find the fee to be the same after you pay for co-pays, parking and all the additional fees. Or instead you can go to Northwestern where they tack on fees left and right and make you wait for weeks for your results and then multiple appointments later plus the stress of waiting and you've already likely paid the $390 anyway in co-pays and fees cause insurance is BS. I started at NW and had months of stress and appointments. Never again. The piece of mind is worth every penny. Do it. Trust me.

He provides a calm atmosphere, excellent x-ray technicians, and his immediate attention to my current test results. I am guessing all that must have created a lot of new patients. I am now 65 and can't afford the $390 concierge fee and am looking for a new facility for my mamogram. I am disappointed that he is my third Northwestern Memorial doctor that has skipped down the road to become a concierge doctor. I have other specialists at University of Chicago Med, they never do this, only the NWM doctors go this route. I know he is the best and hires the best x-ray techs (never cause me pain). By reducing his patient population, I seriously hope he is able to help breast cancer patients that need constant imaging.

Do NOT go here! My complaints with this facility are as follows:…read more 1) It is virtually impossible to get someone on the phone. I spent literal HOURS trying to get through. I would go through phone prompt hell to be told, for example, that I was 3rd in line waiting only to either a) have the phone ring over 100 times and then hang up on me or b) I would just be stuck on hold for half an hour. 2) Their changing rooms are just cubicles with curtains on them. I was already feeling distinctly uncomfortable as they were walking around with a workman, discussing what they wanted done. So I quickly took my top off and put on the gown and sat down to take my shoes off, only to then have one of the employees PEEK IN THE CURTAIN AT ME. She asked me, without any trace of embarrassment at getting caught, if I required any assistance. Um, NO, I don't. She then peeked in AGAIN when walking by after my MRI and I was changing back into my clothes. If you do cannot tell if anyone is in the changing room simply by the fact that the curtain is CLOSED, then try knocking or clearing your throat. There is ZERO reason that you should be peeping in on people while they are changing their clothes! 3) The person who did my MRI was nice, but there was zero communication either before or during my MRI as to how long the process would be. My appointment was at 3 and I got there early to fill out paperwork, and I didn't get out of there until after 4:20. I will never go to this place ever again.
