Steve G. was always professional, organized, and kind in our correspondences. A few days before our event, Steve G. emailed me to find out when he should arrive and on the day of the ceremony he was early. He stayed at the site to set up the equipment and made sure that it worked (which it did). His equipment was professional grade and in great condition. He also brought a microphone just in case we needed it. After our ceremony, Steve took down the set up for us. Steve G. was wonderful to work with and sent me a thank you email today (the day after our event). My husband and I would definitely recommend Steve G's Music Connection!

I missed the return policy so I was fine paying for whatever was wrong with it. I drove half an hour to this location to get it checked out, and the guy was super condescending to me the whole time. I'm a young guy, an intermediate player, and I don't know much about the technical side of guitars, but damn, was he really making me feel stupid. Dude was rolling his eyes at me every time I said I didn't know something. I bought a kapo and a guitar strap, and the guy checking me out was on the phone with someone else the whole time. If I'm going to buy a guitar I'd honestly rather drive twice the distance to the Chicago location. The guys over there are dope and ACTUALLY helpful. Anyways, support local businesses.

The level of instruction is not to be surpassed anywhere, as Hartland also has a division that is a formal music conservatory. Like many outlets of this type, there are plenty of student-level instruments. But Hartland probably has the finest selection in the Midwest of higher-end pianos, and is also becoming a major dealer of Breedlove guitars, including both domestic and imported models. Reputable and laid-back sales approach, a busy lesson studio, and plenty of open jams and open mics at the in-house cafe make this place a hub of the music community. Five all the way around.
