The apartment was infested with mice, I didn't have control over my heater because it was in my neighbor's house across the hall (hence the illegal apt.), and when the fan in their bathroom went on I could smell ever-y-thing from it. Disgusting connected fans that were never properly separated. They refused to return my security deposit. I got harrasing calls from their office from Vanessa after I called the city on them. Tried to serve them papers to get my security back and they are an LLC buried 6-deep in addresses in NY. Couldn't even get them papers because they are so shady with covering their address tracks. Do NOT, I repeat, Do NOT rent from MOD Equities even if you are desperate. These people will make your home life hell and take your money.
