Having an acute tear of the rotator cuff at 61 sounded like a death sentence seeing as I do a lot of work with my hands and arms, but only seven weeks in and I can't believe the progress we have made. I say "we" because this is not an isolated process and my therapist, Peyton Ciesco, has been amazing. Peyton is skilled at knowing just where I am in my recovery process and tailors each session to that level of therapy. She is friendly, yet also firm in challenging me to use the proper techniques, which I know will lead me to a successful recovery in the long run. It also should be noted that Peyton listens to my questions regarding my injury as well as my ability to only complete the movements to a certain degree. I said no. That was in the email received confirming the appointment. I also said you have all my ID information. You should be able to look it up. This she would not do.
