I need to walk to keep my lungs clear. I recently moved to Decatur, and ended up walking on concrete and/or asphalt more than I ever had. I developed heel pain that was affecting my gait and making it very hard to walk. I tried running shoes and shoe inserts, as well as walking in wooded areas. It helped but was no cure Benchmark got me back to walking with both heels down and enjoying every minute of it. It was great working with Ariel Johnson. I was suffering with a painful tennis elbow condition that was affecting my job and gym workouts. Dr. Johnson brought me back with several new and familiar exercises. I admit I was skeptical when she broke out the needling procedure, but it proved to be VERY effective and I looked forward to it during my appointments. She was very flexible with scheduling and informative (answering all my questions). She also wasn't afraid to roll up her sleeves and demonstrate exercises such as proper hang cling form. I've been going to Megan for a few weeks for PT on my foot and she is fantastic. My foot has progressively getting better and I'm happy to say I should be running again soon. The Therapists make specialized plans for you and answer all my questions. They have early appointment times (7am!) so I can pop in and out and still get to work at a decent hour. The receptionist is super nice also. FYI they don't accept amex & your insurance may not pay, so check in with them before you rack up therapy bills! read more

The best Physical Therapist I ever had Anjanette (Decatur, Ga office) she is excellent, caring, an encourager, and very knowledgeable. She has helped me to have a better quality of life, my reduced pain and movement is so much better. I waited two weeks to schedule a 7 am appointment, and gave the scheduler all the information she requested, including insurance and details from my doctor's referral. When I arrived, I was told I was not scheduled, and I was not in their system. If you value your time, avoid this office. read more

My surgeon sent me here after a knee replacement. I'd been to two other PT facilities prior to this experience. I loved it here. The staff is friendly, the PTs are knowledgeable, skilled, and firm, but caring. They juggle two to three patients at once but I found that I still received excellent care. The whole thing was a pleasure from the doctors of physical therapy to the support staff on location. I broke my ankle back in July and had a 7 screws and a plate surgically put in to hold me back together. Even after being allowed to walk without assistance, I still wasn't able to do all the things I wanted (like jogging). Dr. Tyler was professional and worked with me to get me as close to 100% as she could. My mobility has increased a lot. I can now walk down my stairs without trouble and I even started jogging on the treadmill once again. The rest of the team, even though I didn't interact with them directly, were always cheerful and made the experience much better than I could have imagined. Additionally, I originally got a prescription for 16 sessions from my surgeon. My insurance didn't approve the whole lot at one time; we had to go back a few times. The receptionist on location was professional and took care of it every time without a hitch. She was always careful to explain anything that was needed (for insurance or just for scheduling purposes etc.).......and even called me when I was late coming in to make sure I was on my way! I would definitely recommend this place for any of your physical therapy needs! read more

Terrible. Did not provide a quality service. Therapist and receptionist were nice, but not knowledgeable regarding company policies and associated costs. Over booked patients and had the receptionist work with me. Corporate office in TN was terrible, some were rude and unwilling to remedy the problems caused by their staff. read more
