In the back is a button area where you can fill a small paper bag with buttons for $1.50. The cafe is on the first floor with a few tables and bar seating. They sell pastries like ham and cheese croissants, empanadas, a pickle plate, and more. My daughter loved the bacon empanada and the gourmet rainbow marshmallows. They also sell drinks of all kinds, including mimosas and margaritas. The upstairs is where you'll find one big room with long tables, couches, and lots of craft supplies in their Little Free Craft Library space. My daughter could stay for hours making art! I returned it in May for storage and their close inspection revealed multiple seam tears along the sleeves and neckline that were not noticeable to me. I felt that the coat was defective, given that I had worn it only a couple times in late spring, and I suspected the seam tears were there at purchase. They addressed the problem by selling me insurance that would cover the cost of the repair. The coat seams ripped in different places in the following year, and I was advised it was solid coat,not to return it, and to purchase more insurance, under which they would reinforce every seam. Long story short, this coat has continued to tear, so these seams were never reinforced. Because I followed their advice and did not return it immediately, I am now advised that it is not returnable, and in fact was NEVER returnable the moment they sold it to me. This is a company that I think does not stand behind the quality of its product and in my opinion, took advantage of that poor quality to sell me their insurance. Their location within Bloomingdale's led me to believe that my purchase was from Bloomingdale's, but buyers should be aware that Maximilian is a separate company, and you should not expect Bloomingdale's customer service.
