No matter how long your stay, Cody Shuttle takes care of the details, offering convenient pickup and drop-off at your campground's site. The day we spent with Cody Shuttle, especially our guide Heather, exceeded all our expectations. We set our sights on encountering wildlife and exploring the park, especially the northern part of Yellowstone, having already visited popular spots like Old Faithful. Before we even reached Yellowstone, we marveled at the picturesque landscapes and visited two quaint Montana towns, Cooke City and Silver Gate. We even entered the park via the less-traveled Northeast entrance. Heather was a fountain of knowledge, pointing out wildlife, identifying bird calls, explaining geological features, and offering insights about local plant species. We knew we were in for a treat when we saw a majestic bull moose, its massive antlers on full display. Heather had binoculars and a scope on hand, enabling us to appreciate the wildlife in incredible detail. As we journeyed through Lamar Valley -- the "American Serengeti" -- Heather was always the first to spot the Bison. We saw a vast herd of these "American Buffalo" and their calves often referred to as "red dogs" due to their color, roaming as far as the eye could see. Pronghorn Antelopes were also seen mingling with the herd, a sight that was a poignant reminder of nature hundreds of years ago! Throughout the day, we saw more of Yellowstone's wildlife -- Big Horn Sheep, Mountain Goats, and Elk, often with their young. We enjoyed a fresh and tasty deli lunch at a hotel in Mammoth Springs, a historic district formerly known as "Fort Yellowstone." Heather shared the evolving story of Mammoth Springs. We ended the day with not one, but two Black Bear sightings at different points. We even joked with Heather about arranging a Grizzly Bear appearance, and as we drove on Sylvan Pass towards the East Entrance, there it was, a massive Grizzly Bear! It seemed like every wildlife sighting was perfectly timed, although we know it was pure luck. But we'd like to think that Heather was our lucky charm! By the way, Cathy and Alvin, the owners of Cody Shuttle, are truly dedicated to their service. We met them during our tour; they were exploring the park on a holiday, looking for ways to enhance their tour plans. It's clear they're passionate about providing the best experience for their customers!"

They had snacks, drinks, and a fantastic lunch! We chose the lower loop because of snow and we were impressed! Our guides Heather and Vicki were extremely knowledgeable on everything and answered all of our questions. We had a lot of questions. I know if we were to do this ourselves we would have been lost and not benefitted from the entire experience. We must have saw 25 to 30 different animals, Old faithful, the pools and colors, waterfalls, rock formations, snow, baby buffalo and eagles... Sit back and put the map away... take Cody Guided tours through Yellowstone and enjoy nature. It was well worth the trip! Cathy and Alvin were great too! Cathy helped set up the trip. And Alvin made sure everything went well!

Dale's knowledge of the park - its history, its wildlife and its geology - was worth every penny. The van was comfortable and allowed for easy viewing of the park. We never felt rushed at any of the stops. Even the breakfast and lunch were good! Dale is very friendly and an easy person to spend the day with. He treated us as if we were long-time friends. I have zero complaints but lots of great memories of our day touring Yellowstone.

He's been a geologist and professional wildlife photographer for 30-40 years. His wealth of knowledge about everything in Yellowstone is what takes this tour to the next level that other National Park tours don't even come close to touching. This tour is worth EVERY penny. Along our tour, we saw a bald eagle, many buffalo, mountain goats that were right next to the road, elk and deer. Dale was shocked that we didn't see any bears that particular day because they are so common. We saw waterfalls, canyons, geysers and way more. The only downside is that we wish we had more time to tour the rest of the park.

I also made airplane reservations and a hotel reservation for the night before the tour. In April, I was informed that Austin Adventures was cancelling the trip and refund my payment for the trip. However, Austin Adventures refused to refund my travel insurance premium. In addition, I lost money on the airplane tickets. My total losses were over$1000. I spoke to Austin Adventures. I explained I understood that trips are cancelled from time to time. But, that should be financially neutral to me. I lost over $1000 trying to book a trip with them and following their recommendations. I asked if they were OK with that. They told me they have been in business for over 40 years and were highly rated. In conclusion, be very careful dealing with this company. They may cancel your trip and you could lose money you have invested in it. I have since seen other reviews that have reported similar problems. Beware!

We had never been to Yellowstone, and I thought I would be able to call a few weeks ahead to book hotel rooms and a rental car, I was terribly mistaken in my naïveté. Luckily, we stumbled across Austin Adventures in a travel magazine and gave them a call to see if we could book one of their family tours. They had one opening left on the first tour of the season and we jumped on it. I will wholeheartedly say that this was one of the best family vacations we have ever experienced. The tour guides were unbelievably knowledgeable about the park, environment, wildlife, etc. They provided an amazing experience throughout the park, at the attractions, on the hiking trail, in the hotels; everything was taken care of. Immediately after our vacation, we booked a tour for my wife's parents and our children. Again, they delivered an amazing customer experience. After that trip, we booked a private tour for our employees. This was the last tour of the season, which could have meant AA might have been experiencing some fatigue from a long season. But, it was anything but that, we had a wonderful tour. Our employees still speak about it to this day. We had another tour this season, everybody thoroughly enjoyed themselves. AA has only improved on their impeccable customer service.

I couldn't keep up with my husband as I only had a 6 speed bike. We stopped in and they were very helpful with my needs and cost. I wanted to purchase their Comfort Cruiser, but the manufacturer had been delayed in shipping the battery for the Cruiser. We were so disappointed as we were on our way to Miles, MT a 2 hour drive. Later that night, Mark & Tracy were able to make available the Pedego Boomerang at a price that I was willing to pay even though it was much more than the Pedego Comfort Cruiser. We drove back to Billings, MT, a 5 hour turnaround drive. I took it on a test ride and knew that this would work for me. I am not a great bicycle rider, but felt really comfortable knowing that I could start off slow. I purchased the Bike Lock that if it is stolen, Pedego will replace. A Scout Alarm if someone tries to move it will let out an Alarm through a phone app to notify me. A cell phone holder. A Pocampo Travel Bag "very colorful with Daisies" that sits on the back that will hold my water, wallet, etc. Two days later, we are in Spearfish, SD and found a nice easy paved bike trail. It was windy, but I rode it for 3 miles and enjoyed the easy peasy monitor buttons to change from Level 1 to 2. Looking forward to putting many more miles on our trip across the States. Mark & Tracy are wonderful owners who truly care about their customers and those of us who are from out of State. My husband and I highly recommend their Pedego store in Billings, Mt.
