Taught us so much history, info on the wildlife, plants, etc. We saw so much wildlife including see Grizzly 610 & her cubs 2ce!! Saw 13 bears ( Grizzly, black, & brown black bears), tons of bison & calves, moose, fox, coyote, wolves, elk, pronghorns, bald eagles, harlequin ducks, magpies, American white pelicans, mule deer, Sandhill cranes. He really knows both national parks & where to find the wildlife. Love that he took us out early mornings & at dusk when the animals were more active. Kevin was very accommodating to the interests in our group & had a great demeanor & sense of humor. Really loved the tour for my second time. Always learn something new. For $600-850 a snow mobile, this outfit is greatly missing customer etiquette. We were told to be ready at 6am sharp. We wanted to confirm which side of the hotel pickup was, however neither the 1800 or 307 numbers work. We called repeatedly, text the 307 number, and had no idea if we'd been scammed until the coach showed up at 6:28. Showing up late with no working phone number was shocking for an outfit that demands logistics and communication at 6am. Once the coach showed up, I asked Jeff (guide) if there's any coffee since it's a 1+ hour ride to Yellowstone and coffee shops were not open. Scenic Safari's response? "You can die for an hour in the back." A bit rude, I ignored it. For comparison, the hotel shuttle that runs FOR FREEE has coffee and hot chocolate prepped in the van. No coffee on a $600-800 per person is one thing, but "You can die for an hour in the back," has ZERO customer etiquette. We get in the coach and the man has the lights on full blast over our heads. When asked to dim them since it's pitch black outside and the contrast painful to anyone with migraines, Jeff makes the remark "lights are going off because there's someone sensitive in the back." Zero basic customer etiquette. Just turn the light off. Everyone heard the request. Three strikes before the fist 30 minutes of the trip with 8 hours to go.

This is how the conversation went down; ME: Hi I'm in town till sunday and want to ride LADY: Okay, what type of rider are you ME: Aggressive and I don't want a sled that is governed down LADY: You want to ride tommorrow with Kyle, its the only day he is riding with experienced riders like yourself ME: Okay where are you located LADY: No, where are you located, we will pick you up. YAHTZEE !!!! With that said I was picked up at my hotel lobby and taken back to the shop. I opted for the upgrade which was a Polaris 600 with a 153 inch track on it and was not disappointed. My guide like I said was Kyle and from the minute we left the parking lot, to minute we got back it was hard core riding. The parking lot we left was somewhat sunny, but we entered the following areas according to him: Salt River Rand, Wyoming Range, The Greys, River Canyon and Apline Wyoming. Half way through the day we pulled into a real ranch in the middle of nowhere and were treated to a delicious lunch with homemade cookies. We then headed out to some serious boondocking back country riding, unlike anything I have ever experienced in my life. Riding on a base of 20 feet of snow with fresh feet pounding down was the ultimate experience. Our guide kyle let us freestyle for a good 2 hours total off the trails and I was completely spent by the end of it. I flipped my sled once, but Kyle was right there to help me right the sled. I know some people reading this may think this place is too hard core, but they cater to families as well, the inexperienced and the intermediates. I personally think this is the place you want to go if you are in Jackson Hole and want to ride. They have a tour that brings you to much wild life in addition to yellowstone.... Fuck yeah As good as it gets !!!

Not having to deal with finding parking and bathrooms was a big plus during the high season here in Yellowstone. Duncan made sure to tailor the day to what the group wanted, knew where to find wildlife, and ensured we were well fed (breakfast, lunch, snacks), watered (cold water), and comfortable throughout the entire 12 hours. We saw bison, elk, deer, pelicans, and a swainson's hawk. If you are on the fence between different tour companies, this is the one to choose for sure. The day was full of fun, adventure, awe, and inspiration thanks to Duncan.

They had a computer in use that we were able to print our 4th graders national park pass before going into grand Tetons. Parking was plentiful. They had fresh cookies at night! The only thing I wish they had was some kind of fitness center or associated location. They recommended the Teton rec center across the street, it was $15 for a day pass. The location of this hotel was amazing, within walking distance of everything.

It looks and (almost) feels like what they describe it to be... So we bookended our hiking trip there... the first night we dropped into the restaurant but after being sprayed with cleaner as the hostess washed the table next to us, we wandered away... it was chlorine on my and my girls skin and clothes. When we returned from the wilderness, all we wanted was a quiet evening. Now, Jackson is Disneyland for cowboy LARP participants so that's a tall order as we discovered, but it turns out that our suite was directly below the rooftop bar where that evening there was some sort of event. It sounded like a wrestling match was happening upstairs, with a driving EDM soundtrack that kept getting louder as the evening went on. I went upstairs at 11 to find staff sitting at the bar drinking with the music so loud they had to turn it down to hear me tell them that we were trying to sleep downstairs... someone offered me a drink to compensate for the noise. I went downstairs to find the manager, but was told by the front desk person that the owner herself was the one who had offered me a drink. We have received no communication from the hotel after both of us repeated this chain of events to employees at the front desk. I expect that this is simply how they operate and view it as somehow acceptable. Hopefully if you are looking for a quiet place to stay you'll steer clear. I'm torn writing this since the Valet, Bell, Concierge, and Restaurant staff (barring the hostess) were all lovely and helpful and really deserve to be in a better situation.

We took the Grand Teton tour. The tour began just as we entered the park with a herd of female elk who were bleating to each other. Our next stop was a moose cow who was feeding in a small stream. When she started to move off, Taylor told us to keep looking because she was probably going for her calf. Sure enough, that is what happened. We saw mule deer, antelope, bison, osprey, bull moose, bull elk and more. As we saw each animal, Taylor explained its behavior and diet and why it was where it was. He explained the geology of the goregous areas he showed us. When he saw how much I liked wildflowers, he recommended a hike that we took later in our trip. He also provided a delicious breakfast and lunch using some locally produced food products (including locally roasted French press coffee) . We recommended his tour to 2 other couples we met before we even left the area. When the other guests at our B & B asked what our favorite activity had been, we said Taylor's tour. His passion for the natural world and all of its inhabitants was evident throughout the day. read more

We had a wonderful wildlife tour with Mike V. He started off the tour on time with hot coffee and muffins. He was very kind and professional. A joy to be around all day. His knowledge of the wildlife and the area was extensive, so we were able to see many beautiful animals. One of the most exciting was getting to see the Huckleberry Wolf Pack. (lucky us!) Mike went out of his way to set up the video camera with a special lens so we ended up with a really cool video of them. After lunch we went on a snowshoeing hike along the Snake River. Again, Mike offered so much information about birds, fish and the nature all around us. Talk about beautiful! I would recommend this company and Mike to any travelers to the beautiful Jackson Hole area. Lastly, they use SUV's that have been modified with a hole in the roof that you can open to see wildlife while stopped in the vehicle. That feature came in handy a few times when we saw Coyotes sand Moose on the side of the road. We pulled over and stayed safely in the vehicle and looked out the top. read more

Our 14 hour day with Eco Tour Adventures was truly amazing. From pick-up to drop-off the experience was first class. We felt fortunate to have Colin as our tour guide. The day was a blast, and very much catered to what we wanted to do and see. We were able to see all the sights and animals across Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone but what separated our experience was the incredible knowledge that was shared by Colin. It's hard to capture all that we learned but our AP course orientation covered biology, zoology, geology, and history. Throw in deep biographies of local heros, folklore, and legend. Our trip was as a family of 4 (2 adults, and kids 9 & 10) and our kids loved the entire day. Eco tours supplied top notch binoculars, spotting scope, along with a collection of bones & skulls for us to learn more about the animals than we could have done on our own. I would highly recommend Eco Tours to anyone that wants to both see and learn about Wyoming. read more

My friend and I visited Jackson Hole mid-May and decided to experience a full-day wildlife tour in the area with Eco Tour. Our guides, Arielle and Kate, were wonderful and extremely knowledgeable, not only about this area but about wildlife and ecology in general. There were a total of 6 of us in the van, including our guides, which allowed for a very personalized experience. Their sharp eyes and spotting scope allowed us to visualize moose and elk some distance away that we would never have seen otherwise. From them we learned about the breeding and calving seasons, diets, environmental requirements, etc., which is exactly what I wanted to know. We also saw bison (and learned the difference between buffalo and bison), big horn sheep, ruffed grouse, and Blonde and her two cubs (a grizzly mom and cubs). They also educated us about some of the history of the previous human inhabitants. All in all, a wonderful experience including a delicious lunch and snacks. read more

I really couldn't have asked for a better wildlife tour than what we got this morning. Our guide, Mike Vanian, is incredibly knowledgeable and deligthful! He knows where to find the wildlife and can spot critters from a great distance. Today we got to see 2 moose, a bunch of otters, a cpuple eagles, lots of elk, a huge coyote, 6 bison and a bunch of bighorn sheep. Many were fairly close, others good with binoculars and fabulous with his scopes. After seeing each animal, Mike gave us a ton of information about each, and about the area. The SUV was comfortable, we each had a window seat, and we got to pop out through the roof for better viewing. Delicious, healthy snacks and excellent French Press coffee were provided, and Mike accomodated us for restroom stops! This is a tour to take. Thank you!! read more

Guided tour of Yellowstone/Grand Teton is A MUST! After visting both parks many times over the years as a "typical" tourist, I realized during our 2 Day Tour, exactly how much I missed out on. Taylor Phillips, owner of EcoTour Adventures quickly responsed to my inquiry and helped determined our needs. Josh Metten, was an amazing, knowledgeable, highly trained, adaptable and entertaining young man. During our 36 hrs, he handled the needs/requests of 3 "older" ladies with ease. Timing is crucial to viewing animals and he knows where and when to view. It was a perfect blend of sightseeing and animal viewing. We will be back in the spring for more...because, thankfully, there will always be more in those 2 beautiful parks! (PS: If this will be your only trip here, you need 2 days!) read more

Favorite part of my trip! I really wanted to see some wildlife on my trip out west; and I did not have much luck on my own. I was able to book a tour with this group for the last evening in town, and I am glad that I did. Rafael our guide was very knowledgable; and he really wanted to make it a great experience for everyone. Although the tour was for four hours, he spent some extra time to try one more spot. It paid off and we saw a bear and a herd of elk. It was a terrific end to a fun evening and vacation! read more

Lucas took us to a variety of beautiful locations where we were lucky enough to spot moose, elk, deer, and bison. Kirk was an amazing guide! He led an excellent tour, informed by everything we saw around us and his extensive knowledge of geography and ecology on the half-day snowshoe tour. We saw many birds, smaller wildlife, and moose tracks. The leisure activity level was just perfect for an early morning adventure. The views were magical along the Snake River in the National Park. Luckily we did spot a moose at the very end, which was exciting. It's all up to chance and a ton of different factors play a role in what's out and about! For $600-850 a snow mobile, this outfit is greatly missing customer etiquette. We were told to be ready at 6am sharp. We wanted to confirm which side of the hotel pickup was, however neither the 1800 or 307 numbers work. We called repeatedly, text the 307 number, and had no idea if we'd been scammed until the coach showed up at 6:28. Showing up late with no working phone number was shocking for an outfit that demands logistics and communication at 6am. Once the coach showed up, I asked Jeff (guide) if there's any coffee since it's a 1+ hour ride to Yellowstone and coffee shops were not open. Scenic Safari's response? "You can die for an hour in the back." A bit rude, I ignored it. For comparison, the hotel shuttle that runs FOR FREEE has coffee and hot chocolate prepped in the van. No coffee on a $600-800 per person is one thing, but "You can die for an hour in the back," has ZERO customer etiquette. We get in the coach and the man has the lights on full blast over our heads. When asked to dim them since it's pitch black outside and the contrast painful to anyone with migraines, Jeff makes the remark "lights are going off because there's someone sensitive in the back." Zero basic customer etiquette. Just turn the light off. Everyone heard the request. Three strikes before the fist 30 minutes of the trip with 8 hours to go.

Whatever you do be sure you don't get Anthony! I don't know why this business still employs him. He was gruff and generally had a nasty attitude. He really distracted from the experience.
