Why would they just not charge an extra $18 on the rooms prior to booking then add this "hidden fee"? Rooms are old, no USB chargers in any of the outlets. If you need to charge anything, bring your blocks. Elevators, small and you can wait up to 10-15 minutes to get on one at times. Check in, had an hour wait this past Saturday and only after 45 minutes did they add a third person at counter to assist. Wife and I agreed, it's been almost 15 years since we were here and nothing has been updated, and that's most of the problem. We'd pay the extra money for a more modern hotel moving forward. Won't be staying here again anytime soon.

I do not feel cramped at all. I am also facing the ocean, and being on a high floor I could see the waves. Too bad it was rainy and foggy much of the time. The hotel is aged. Many signage was missing letters. A big update is definitely needed and necessary. But the saddest part is all the memorabilia left by Miss America Organization. I bet it was really glorious and wonderful when MAO used to have it's office inside the hotel. Maybe one day they will come back. I did not venture out to the boardwalk or casinos. Did not feel safe walking around at night. AC really seems to have seen it's glory days.

Swanky decor, elegant furniture, and breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. Elizabeth showed us all they had to offer, and we knew this was the venue for us. Our vision was to have a less traditional wedding layout. We wanted the space to feel more like a lounge and less like a run-of-the-mill wedding reception (we requested couches and high-top tables mixed in with regular tables). One Atlantic worked with us to create and execute our unique vision. We had our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception at One Atlantic and it could not have been any more perfect. Eileen and Paul were FANTASTIC during the planning, right up until (and including) the day of our wedding. Every little detail came to fruition, and everything flowed beautifully. Glasses were kept full, the excellent food was free-flowing (we had a cocktail-style reception with small plates being butlered all night), and the acoustics made for a hopping good time on the dance floor. We even ordered 150 White House subs as part of our "to go" favor, and the One Atlantic team took care of it all for us. It was exceptional! We have received non-stop compliments about the venue, the friendliness of the staff, and the amazing food. Our guests had a phenomenal time! We truly had the best evening ever at One Atlantic. Additionally, there was a random table in the hallway with a tablecloth and food that had been sitting there for more than 12 hours (if not longer). -- disgusting! Apparently you were supposed to get a play card in order for the parking to be free ( i was told this was a promotion until March). But I checked in after work so I came late into the evening and each time I asked about it, the window wasn't opened. So it ended up being $15 for parking when I checked out. So I would immediately ask about it so you can take advantage of the free parking.

While I was there, I read some of the signs about the town's history. There were some great vintage signs and photos and a Mr. Peanut costume. Even if you are not here for an event, it's an informative little museum inside that's worth a few minutes of your time.

The tickets RJ purchased were front row in our section, but with "limited view" which was described as "possible infrastructure or lighting". We thought oh no big deal, maybe some sound equipment or a railing. Ok, these should have been sold as completely obstructed view. An employee from down below handed new tickets to RJ after the concert started if we wanted to move. But the row is so small and tight, I am 5 ft tall and had no leg room. We were all jammed against the railing. We thought that was nice but wished it had happened before the concert started, or that she came to the row and got us out rather than handing them up to us. No way was I going to try to get out by making 12-14 people move 1 song into the concert. So we only know they were higher up, but did not use them. At least I could see if I leaned to the left, but RJ looked at the back of this camera man all night!
