Compared to many other casino bars, it is a true sprawl and quite spacious. It absolutely embodies the "wild west" theme of the casino and offers pretty extensive seating all throughout the bar and various tables. They also have a number of beer pong tables, a mechanical bull, a dedicated stage and dance floor, and a motorized toy train that rides atop the rocky wall decor at the top of the venue. They have dedicated DJs, mini concerts, and drink specials constantly, which brings in a serious crowd nightly. Drinks wise, it reminds me a lot of what a dive bar might serve. A lot of sweet cocktails and basic concoctions, but the pour is pretty serious. Many of the drinks can be hard to down given the harshness of bottom shelf liquor and limited stuff on tap. When in doubt, go for shots. I think the bartenders could be friendlier; something tells me they're jaded from the constant flow of drink tickets, lousy tippers, and general dbaggery. The patrons range from bridge and tunnel to sleazy and slimy, which makes for a rough mingling session if needs be. It was cute a lot of local businesses decorated trees, and they looked so pretty lined up. I wished it was a bit better promoted than one boardwalk champion because it was pretty and festive. While I was there, I read some of the signs about the town's history. There were some great vintage signs and photos and a Mr. Peanut costume. Even if you are not here for an event, it's an informative little museum inside that's worth a few minutes of your time.

The tickets RJ purchased were front row in our section, but with "limited view" which was described as "possible infrastructure or lighting". An employee from down below handed new tickets to RJ after the concert started if we wanted to move. But the row is so small and tight, I am 5 ft tall and had no leg room. We were all jammed against the railing. We thought that was nice but wished it had happened before the concert started, or that she came to the row and got us out rather than handing them up to us. No way was I going to try to get out by making 12-14 people move 1 song into the concert. So we only know they were higher up, but did not use them. At least I could see if I leaned to the left, but RJ looked at the back of this camera man all night!

As it's mainly a cocktail bar there are only around six crafty beers on tap and a group of domestics and imports in bottle. Nice spot for a drink but no happy hour is pretty lame. Really? All the other bars have a happy hour. Why not here? If you want to sit in the lounge area it's a one drink minimum. Kind of an upscale decor with assorted seating, lighting, and art on the walls.
