Pretty good overall!…read more Considerably big space for Philly. They had an upstairs too but I am not sure why it wasn't open during majority of the night. When the big crowd from the conference left they opened the upstairs. The Mac and cheese is SO GOOD. Very creamy and rich, the bread crumbs were an amazing surprise edition. This fatty finished it before the beer came. Lots of beer choices. I took off a start be size they were under staffed. So we were just waiting around for the check and the waitress kept forgetting what we asked for. Honestly, not her fault. There were like ~100 people and only 3 employees that I saw. So no designated waiter for tables. These poor 3 employees were the bartenders and the table waiters.

They aren't lying when they say that they have an extensive beer menu! I had a Dancing Gnome Kolsch which was very good and then a Corsendork Christmas Ale which was fantastic! I normally don't like spiced beer, but this one was perfect! My wife and I shared the cheese and salumi plate which was so delicious! My only re is not getting the large! My wife had the crispy chicken sandwich which was really good. The crust was crunchy and the chicken was tender and juicy. I had the porchetta sandwich which was recommended by our waiter and was SO DELICIOUS! It is a must! At first my wife was concerned about the limited menu. They may not have an extensive menu but what they do, they do right! Our waiter was really great and very welcoming, especially as we were from out of town. The place has a rustic vibe which fits with its old town location. We loved it! If we ever find ourselves back in Philly, we will definitely visit Glory again!

Great venue, great music, and most of all great people. We saw our first show there last Saturday…read morenight: The Billy Walton Band opening for Low Cut Connie. We arrived early 'cause we're old, we didn't want to stand all night, and hoped to grab a table by the bar. We had to wait for 5-10 minutes outside before the doors opened at 7:00. It was cold out there! While we stood there, a bouncer came outside and stood with us. He could have remained indoors where it was warm. But in a gesture of silent solidarity, the dude joined us in the cold until the doors opened. He didn't make a big deal about it, just stood with us. You know, in our angry, cynical, stressed out world, it's awfully nice to witness a small display of humanity. Thanks, big guy. Once inside we snagged a table near the bar. I asked the bartender for a virgin strawberry margarita for my wife. But alas, the margaritas are premixed and they'd all lost their virginity. The bartender offered to make a substitute concoction for my wife. She asked me to report back and if my wife didn't like the drink, she'd comp us. Again, real decency. And good mixology, too. The drink was great. The show was fantastic, the acoustics outstanding, and the overall vibe at ARC is cool but unpretentious. It's a kick-ass independent music venue. That was our first show, and we'll be back for more. P.S. If ARC is reading this, could you maybe book more hip hop?

So we saw the districts here. Opening band was very good. The districts were very good. The staff…read morewas nice. But what was going on with the Sound tonight? Everything was loud (designed for a bigger, outdoor show, not this venue) and sounded way too tinny. Also who the hell was Starberry? The band that performed was not the band they said to look up on Spotify (the former was a group of high 20 somethings and not a 5 piece indie band with two ladies) . We're very confused

Was recommended to come here and was finally able to make the trip…read more A decent selection of beers with a lot being IPAs. My friend got a pumpkin cheesecake stout and I got a "Oh Yeaa" which is a sour mixed with kool aid. Mine was ok but my friends didn't taste like pumpkin nor cheese cake. There were surprisingly A LOT of kids running around and slightly loud which I was surprised they were allowed in. Service was quick and friendly which was a redeeming quality. I would come back maybe to try something else as a second try but not dying to get back immediately.

My wife had the Refresh which is a pilsner style and light. I had the So Fresh So Clean which is a Cold IPA. The 16oz glass was 6.5% ABV and $8.50. It was great. My next one was the Maine Event which is a New England Style hazy IPA. A little citrusy, but very good. Same ABV and price as well. The last one was the Rewind which I think might be their best. More of a West Coast IPA. Same ABV and price. They don't serve their own food, but there's a Taco truck onsite. Using their QR code, you can order food and they will deliver to your table. There's parking next door, but it can be challenging when it's busy.

We almost didn't visit because the online photos don't do this place justice--but I'm glad we did!…read moreThe facility is spotless, with a great atmosphere and plenty of seating thanks to bars on both sides of the building. The beer selection is varied, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The food menu is surprisingly large, offering everything from soups and appetizers to salads and sandwiches. Just note that food service is separate from the bar, so you'll have a different server and a separate check. They do accept credit cards, which is convenient. One downside--and I hate to say it because everything else was great--the liquor pours are very light. I even asked for extra vodka because the original pour was minimal. If you're going to free-pour, please make it a proper drink! On the plus side, there's free on-site parking, which is a huge bonus since free parking in AC is rare. Overall, I'd return in a heartbeat, but I'd strongly encourage them to improve their cocktail pours.

I asked for chili with tortilla chips instead of Fritos. The chips were covered in salt. I asked if extra salt had been added and she said "yes, they season them". I advised that I could not eat them they were so salty and she chuckled. The gentleman next to me inquired about a beer special during the Phillies game. She confirmed the special. He then asked if she could actually put the Phillies game on and she begrudgingly asked someone from the kitchen or back to come turn the game on at a sports bar where a promo is run during the game. What a bad experience. I suggest you save your money and go downstairs to Hooters where the service was a thousand times better.
