The Evening News with Sam and Alma, although better than TV Patrol, came across as cold and passive. The "Spoon" by Janice de Belen I gave it 0 star. How in the world can you show cooking shows by not mentioning the ingredients. I often hear her say: "Next ito naman, sunod yun, at saka ihalo naman ito after that." And in one episode, she was processing some ingredients, but never said a word. Please forward to Ms. de Belen this feedback, because I am sure she can improve or she can get tips from Food Network.

No more World's Best Videos...I want to cry. FUCK YOU, OVATION TV!!!! * * * * * This is a heartbreaking story with a happy ending. Once upon a time, there was a little girl growing up in Indiana who didn't have cable. She didn't have a satellite dish. Instead, she had rabbit ears and parents who were too cheap to realize all the amazing things the little girl could have seen if they just paid for more television stations. (Actually, the little girl ended up seeing a lot of those things when she spent the night with friends, and perhaps saw "Blue Velvet" a bit too early in life.) At any rate, while other kids were enjoying this new-fangled thing called "MTV", watching Kennedy and Martha Quinn and Downtown Julie Brown introduce music videos EVERY SINGLE DAY, the little girl had to settle for staying up late with her brother to watch Friday Night Videos on NBC once a week. And when the little girl grew up, she swore that as God was her witness, she'd never go hungry (for music videos) again. She had cable in college, and during those long summers home without her beloved music videos, her boyfriend sent her VHS tapes he made at home in New Jersey that he labeled "MTV for people who aren't getting any (MTV)", making her laugh and her mother very nervous. (Little wonder the boy ended up being her best friend for life.) But sadly, as time went by, MTV became a sham, a mockery, a shamockery of what it once was. Music videos started disappearing and in their place, horrible reality shows bred like love-starved rabbits pumped full of Cialis. Eventually, the music died. MTV2 arrived, and shone like a star for the briefest of moments, but then it too became yet another channel featuring Kim Kardashian's ass and cribs of rappers the girl didn't recognize and bitches from the OC. She thought she was destined to a life without music videos. And then...in her darkest hour...when she thought all hope was lost...she found IMF, the International Music Feed. *angels singing* IMF is effing incredible. They have a show called World's Best Videos, and it actually is the World's Best Videos. They feature homegrown talent like Angels & Airwaves, Rihanna, Gwen Stefani, Colbie Calliat, Spoon, Common, and Kings of Leon, but the girl has been exposed to artists from around the globe like the Klaxons, Rodrigo & Gabriela, Molotov, Mark Ronson, and Chara. They also have an awesome show called Artist Feed that is just 5-10 minutes focusing on one artist/band, like Sum 41, The Killers, Silversun Pickups, Eve, or LCD Soundsystem. The little girl who was so sad is now a very happy grown-up girl with access to the finest music videos in all the land, and she loves IMF so much she wants to take it behind a middle school and get it pregnant. P.S. If you have Dish Network, you can watch IMF on Channel 157.

Check your local PBS station. Lucy Worsley has the knack of being scholarly and tremendously whimsical all at once. An excellent Christmas offering, Ms. Worsley presents the customs (sometimes horrifying feasting, but perhaps not to gourmands) of sixteenth century English life. Insight into Henry VIII's demands and requirements (there is no "off with her head" here) do differ greatly, but things never do change really. Seeking merriment might not have been easy for the regular folk, but seek they did. The twelve days of Christmas, as some may know, begins on Christmas and ends on January 5 as we see while following Ms. Worsley through the days. While not discussed in this program, the very familiar Christmas song, the "Twelve Days of Christmas" has a hidden meaning, often liturgical, behind each verse.

Ted Rowlands is so easy to watch, Vinnie is great, Julia is doing a wonderful job. And all guests have been balanced and knowledgable about this case, MA law, and the law in general.

Her voice, over exuberance, and shallow analysis though is more suited to the kind of reporting exhibited at TMZ than for the unbelievably somber and tragic events that precipitated this trial. It's unseemly. This is a trial of a woman who admittedly ended the life of her three children and attempted to end her own life, not the roll out of a pop star's world tour. Be better.

As a millennium, I didn't even know that Television was in Black & White. But I do remember, when I've watched my favorite shows such as The X files, The Lone Ranger, Charlie Angels or sometimes with my family, I've to watch the boring soaps like Dynasty. The television culture is more than just a show. It's a family gathering, learning identities, and also primarial source for information back in my childhood. IMHO, this could better than bombarded by social media (s). What is unfolding would make you very happy in Saban Media Center. According to Emmy's official website, this theater has been celebrating 70 year of Television. As a member of Sag-Aftra & Television Academy, I'd be honored to attend events here. The Wolf Theater at Saban Media can host 600 seats for the screening event. The breeze around the garden and the vibe is so serendipitous in the TV academy. The Wolf Theater is named after Dick and Noelle Wolf. This is one of my favorite places in North Hollywood and the invitation only for the industry people. Though, mostly you could bring your significant other from time to time depending on the event. There's plenty of up-scale restaurants around Noho if you've done and grab a bite later on. But Dive Bars? Here it's tips; The Brickyard, Risky Business (my fav) and even El Tejano, the spicy mexican night bar or if you're looking for action, The Bullet Bar is quite well-known for LGBTQA+. You don't need to go down Studio City or Toluca Lake. Literally 5 minute walk from TV Academy. The NoHo becomes hit for youngsters and glad that TV Academy made the right choice to called home here in North Hollywood. This Saban Media Center is exquisite and this is your time to shine how sophisticated you can be with your plus one. I'll close out with true appreciation for Saban Media Center at Television Academy and many more to come. See you 2025 ! ! !

What a beautiful theater and a beautiful complex in general…read more This is the home of the Television Academy and it does not disappoint. I went here recently for a screening, and the theater they have is beautiful. It's large, the seats are very comfortable. Very, very nice. They have screenings, talkbacks, and plenty of other fun industry things that go on here. The exterior of the complex is also quite nice. It almost makes you forget that you're in the heart of North Hollywood. There is also a parking garage, which offers a discounted rate if you are attending a screening (it is also open to the public). I had a lovely time visiting here and hope I can be back soon.
