The cuisine is Peruvian with ceviche (fish marinated in citrus juice usually lime juice) lomo salteado(steak with rice & French fries), arroz chaufa(fried rice with meat) on the menu. It also has sliders, quesadillas , fried calamari as well. My thing was the tostoricos!!! The tostoricos are the bomb! The best thing ever I ate at a lounge! It's guac, bacon, beef on a tostone (fried plantain)! The service was awesome and our server was super helpful. The food did take a while...just a heads up! For the tip, I feel like we should be able to pick our own tip or else this would make ppl pay double tip. Maybe that's the reason. Please be aware. You dont need to pay tip ON TOP of tip. Decided to try this place for dinner yesterday. We ordered sodas & beer. The sodas were WAY too sweet like the syrup mix is off. We were so disgusted with the drinks we decided to leave & didn't order any food. The decor looks like a restaurant trying to be a nightclub, but it's pretty small. On a spontaneous night out with friends and we came across the Chill Lounge. I honestly did not expect to like it as much as I did! The blackout curtains make it hard to see what's happening from outside but once inside the vibes hit you immediately. This place provides all things needed for a fun Saturday night out, hookah, drinks and music that makes you want to dance!! And the food was pretty good aswell tbh. We ordered the chicken quesadilla (my fav of the night and Im not even a fan of chicken) empanadas and a rice dish pictured below. I was there last night with my husband, we are new in the neighborhood so decided to try something new. Our experience was definitely not impressive for a first time. I asked 4 times for water and after I am almost finished with my burger they show up with 2 bottles of water, NYC tap definitely not an option. They did something to my check and I found out they hide that I was being charged for 4 bottles of water, I ask the server and she got us the right check (dishonest and theft actitud), after that we find out it's CASH ONLY and it wasn't listed nowhere, so my husband had to walk to the Chase. They included almost 22% Tip for a party of 2? I think it's a little offensive for a place that: 1. Hide charges on your check. 2. Can't pay 3% fee for a credit card machine. 3. Doesn't have tap water. 4. List tip as 20% but it's actually 22% I found out they are more like a "club" kind of place So it will be fun to come back for hookah and drinks if they change their dishonest actitud. The food was definitely good, Burger was juicy and tasty, margaritas were good and tiramisu was definitely a hit!! Server and busser were nice, and I always leave more that 20%tip regardless but at least give me water! LOL read more

Firstly, I wanted to go about this the subtle way by sending an email about my experience. It has now been over a week and no one has even attempted to reach out. I came with a big group we ordered bottles had a great time. When it was time to leave a server came up to my girlfriend stating that I ordered 7 shots. Firstly, it was not my original server, secondly why go up to my girlfriend saying I ordered something trying to make her pay when I was right there it was all sketchy. I overheard and my girlfriend asked me and I said it wasn't true, I had 2 bottles of agua ardiente on the table why would I order 7 extra shots of the same thing ? And why come up to us when I'm putting my jacket on to leave. I told the server I did not order it and she basically harassed me to pay for it. My friends we're having a great time , it was my girlfriends birthday I didn't want to cause a scene so I just went ahead and paid for it. It just makes me think how many people do they trick this way , when they are drunk and just making them pay for stuff they didn't order especially since the 20% gratuity is included. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. We came in on Cinco de Mayo with a reservation for 10. We were on time and had less then ten people with us. We were notified that there was only two tables and 4 seats for our entire party and offered an additional chair as accommodation. Keep in mind we had confirmation text for the reservation. I asked to speak with the manager and a young lady let me know that she was in charge at the moment until the manager arrived at 9pm. I asked so we made a reservation and you're giving us 4 seats are the rest of the people in the party supposed to stand? She said "I know, I'm sorry" we all left, why would we pay money for a place that sells food and drinks and stand on our feet? This is a review for someone who has only been there once. It's a nice place If you are young and love to party. It gets over crowded so expect to get touched from time time. The majority of the customers were nice and had manners when it came to asking you to move. However, there was a girl who was just nasty and didn't want to get touch. My friend bumped into her by mistake and she just gave us attitude the whole night. There is so much going on at once!!! We were a party of 6 in a table of 2, and we kept asking if we could move to a bigger table. I am not complaining about us being in a small table because we got there late and that was all that was available. However, later on our waitress gives us a bigger table. . . . And two minutes later we get kicked out. There was miscommunication between our waitress and the manager. One of the gentleman that kicked us out was just rude and thought we were rude for not leaving the table. We did not want to leave because our waitress sat us there. From what I could see, the manager just kept saying "move them". I would've appreciated if the manager came up to us and explained that he had already promised the table to another party. After we went back to our small table, the waitress apologized and told us that the bigger table required more consumption. I was annoyed because we were obviously going to keep ordering!!! Anyways the music was super good!! I was jamming to dembow, regeton, spanish trap, r&b and so on. Around 3 am my friend gives the dj $10 so he could put a song. The dj never played it, and when he was asked again by another friend, he denied that the song was ever asked. I guess there was a confusion. Now the bill!!!! The bill was not itemized. The guy came over told us it would be $35, he came back with the hookah, and asked for the $35 right then... and only cash. Okay, weird but whatever.... The hookah was awful. BUT what threw me off was we had a waitress doing her shift and she was leaving she gave us the bill and charged us for a 16oz which was fine ok... next girl comes in for her shift we asked for the same exact thing .. she charged us what like $3-$4 more. Got the bill and the cup was now 20oz. Mind you it was the same damn cup. The food was disgusting, the calamari wasn't even crispy it was a 2/10. Got the grilled chicken breast it was salty asf.. this spot isn't even all that for them to be charging so much for a damn drink. Two drink was $80 i could've just gotten a damn bottle. I went out with a bunch of coworkers and we had a great time. The food was good. My husband ordered the spicy wings and he liked it. I had salmon tacos for my meal, and guacamole and chips for my appetizer. Everything was good. The drinks were good. The prices were good. The wait staff was very attentive. I liked that. They made sure that we were comfortable. The music was good and I liked the fact that the Dj put the music videos on the tv screens while he was playing. Basically, it's is the worse false advertisement I've ever seen on social media. This is a dive bar with loud music, bottle girls and a lot of hookah. We had a 9pm rsvp that I moved to 10:30. There was NO PARKING at all. Called and said we would be late and asked if we could still come - this is what pissed me off. The dude on the phone said sure. He would figure out a table for us. It wasn't a problem. Got in the place and it's super tiny, super loud, full of hookah and not a single person had food on their table. Oh and half of the room is standing bc there's not enough space. One of the bottle girls (pretty girls in onesys instead of waitresses) kept rubbing her ass on me when she went by. Never saying excuse me. No one was finishing up their tab. How are we going to get a table? Eventually someone walks up and asks my name and then says "..well you're late so.." bro why didn't you say that on the phone? Why didn't you say hey we are very busy it's okay take your time come back @11:30-12? Completely moronic. I double checked to make sure they did serve food and was told the kitchen closed @1:30 which would have been awesome but we couldn't even sit down. We've been in this place couple of times. We always go hoping service will get better. I have no idea who manages this place. It is based on looks only and not quality. The girls are really cute but they cant provide good service. They almost lost my credit card. One girl leaves and we have to close our tab with her and start another one. Food takes long. I had to wait long time to get my drink when my other friends had their already. I just ordered a beer. When our food came out the order was all messed up. They waitress wrote the order down how can she get it wrong? It was very upsetting. My friend ordered salad and we got no utensils and no napkins. No sauce and no drinks. And there were busy with 2 tables only. They were doing their talking among themselves by the bar. Music was good but too loud We couldn't even talk. We could not just "chill" - this is why They got two stars. And the most upsetting thing is that there was a photographer taking pics of our food while a guy was holding my plate and the waitress was waiting for him to finish so she could bring over the plate. I don't understand how anyone can dislike this place! This is the best place in Astoria to just grab a drink and some food. Whether it be on a weekday after work, or the weekend where it's a guaranteed party. All the bartenders/servers are wonderful, down to earth, and apart of the fun. The bouncers are like family and the owner is always present, which to me, makes for good business. This is me and my girls' favorite hang out location. The drinks are awesome. The hospitality is actually pretty amazing from this place, from the door in you feel like your second home! The way the waitresses , the bartenders or even the owners greet you is like family.
