    Sliders and salmon tartare
    Anne F.

The experience at Melody's Piano Bar truly sings, from the attentive service to the surprisingly excellent food and drinks. To be perfectly honest, I didn't arrive with high expectations for the menu. I carry a certain bias against bar food, even at a place as sophisticated as Melody's, and I was happy to be proven completely wrong. I began with the sliders, and as someone who's never been especially enamored with burgers (miniature or otherwise), I was genuinely impressed. Soft buns cradled well-seasoned double patties, finished with melty cheese and crisp pickles--exactly how a slider ought to be done. Next came the salmon tartare, and once again, Melody's challenged my preconceived notions. Raw fish isn't typically my go-to, yet this dish was nothing short of exceptional. I've had my share of salmon tartares elsewhere, and this one stands out as a favorite. There was a subtle heat, likely from chili oil, balanced beautifully by the deep, savory punch of roasted garlic. I ordered a second plate. I had enjoyed all this while sitting at the bar, enjoying the tunes wafting from the piano, all while receiving attentive service from the bartender, who expertly made the drinks. Melody's doesn't just meet expectations; it exceeds them, making it an easy recommendation for anyone.

Phenomenal date spot! I had the sliders- very good. Service is great. Very organized considering how busy and packed they are. Totally recommend. FYI- go early if you want a table. Otherwise it's standing room only- if you get in.

I came here with some co workers after work and the vibe is authentic. We came on a Friday night so there was a cover but it's worth it because you have a love band. There is also a good crowd. Drinks were really delicious. Definitely will return again for a date night

I really enjoyed the live music and drinks! We sat at a table and I liked the intimate elegant atmosphere. Service was prompt. The musicians and singer performed beautifully.

This place is such a gem on the UES! It feels like the casual, cool sister of Bemelman's nearby. I love the live music, and the late night music is such fun! A great date spot with ambient lighting and the drinks are well made too. I like how we weren't rushed or anything -- we were able to sit and enjoy a few drinks while listening to music and chatting. Looking forward to going back soon!

I wanted to do something cozy and quaint for the rush of cold weather in NYC..I did some research and decided to give this intimate; quaint; beautifully decorated place a try..I absolutely enjoyed myself. The music pianist was so chill..I arrived early and good thing I did. On a Saturday evening it became packed after around 7 ish..reserved tables; singles; dates..it was lovely..They had nice themed drinks..I enjoyed one..but I stuck it out to a good ol extra dirty martini..The bartenders were kind and efficient. I MUST COME BACK..it's definitely a Vibe .I didn't like the snack menu as much ; However I didn't taste the snacks..The bathrooms are pretty cold too..ALL IN ALL IT WAS A HIT ..You must get there early if you are solo ..to sit at the bar..it's a dope spot..and look cute..it helps the algorithm..

Great drinks and ambiance!! absolutely loved the live music. Space can be tight, but that's what makes it more Intimate. The cocktails are unique and all were tasty. We did not get food, but it looked yum

I had the best time this weekend at this bar. We were sat at the bar, and got immediate service. This was one of the best bars in the neighborhood that does live music, but it's still a great place to hang out and get to know the bartenders and the people who were sitting next to us. The manager Malic helped celebrate our friend's birthday and completely went out of his way to celebrate us. Definitely come here, Malic treated us like royalty! P.S The drinks were amazing!

I walked into this piano bar on a Saturday night and the vibe was amazing. I really enjoyed the cocktails and the live music. The espresso martini I had paired well with their hazelnut chocolate dessert. The kitchen is open late until about 1:00. The service was great, the bartenders were very friendly - especially our bartender ?Alexia. She provided excellent customer service. I will definitely be back here!

I came here on a Friday night around 7:30 pm and was actually able to be seated. I was seated in the front so away from the live music. The performers were great and the music was loud enough for me to hear at the front. Note: there is a $10 charge per person after 7 pm for music. I had the Summer of Love ($20) and Her Royal Highness ($20). I liked both drinks but prefer the Her Royal Highness. It was a super cozy and intimate vibe inside. Service was fast and they constantly filled our waters.

If you are looking for a divey bar with chill ambiance that is open til 4am then stumble into this place. It's intimate, cozy, great service btw... just feels like a nice spot to bring a date or hang for a quick drink and meet new people... it has the speakeasy feel.

    Non alcoholic drinks..

We came after the kitchen closed about 12am. The service was quick and attentive. The ambiance was casual and romantic. Elegant vibes. The band was versatile. Remaking current songs as well as a few classics. Highly recommend.

It was dark when we entered the coffee shop but an ajar door gave way to the bar. The decor is a homage to the works of Nikola Tesla, which can be seen in the subtle electric theme throughout the space and the naming of the cocktails. The space isn't too large - the bar and stools take up most of the space but they also have some booths/tables. The place looks great. The cocktail menu is very creative - I got one of their seasonal mixes that was actually two drinks in one. The main cocktail was meant to be sipped first and they provided a small glass of beer to be sipped after. The name escapes me but it was very good. We walked in without a reservation around 6:20 p.m., and they were able to accommodate us at a shared table until 7:15. The menu surprised me a bit. Since I associated the address with Eleven Madison Park, I wasn't expecting to see items like wings stuffed with sausage, which were done in partnership with Jungsik. We ordered those along with the mushroom burger and asked them to cut the burger in half for us. The cocktail menu was creative and a little intimidating, with unconventional ingredients like cream cheese and green curry. I went with a fruity Hendrick's-based drink, and my friend ordered the spicy green curry martini. Both were good. Mine didn't taste very strong, but it also wasn't overly sweet because there was enough bitterness to balance it out. The green curry martini was more adventurous but still worked. Service was mixed. There was a woman standing near us, so we tried ordering food with her, but she seemed hesitant to come over. Maybe she wasn't a server or was newer. It was a little salty, but the crispy mushroom and soft bun were a great combination. I honestly wished I had more than half. The wings were okay. They were crispy on the outside and juicy inside, but coated in a Dorito-like powder that made them very messy. Overall, it was a good experience, and I'd come back, especially for the mushroom burger.
