WORST experience ever. Went for X-rays at the beginning of month because my son was complaining of tooth pain, dr Wong assured everything was fine and my son had no cavities. Fast forward to the end of the month, I'm at an appointment with the orthodontist he referred us to at NELA, who did another xray, he was unable to begin treatment because my son had 3 cavities, an infection and abscess. Vanessa, who manages the front desk, is friendly, caring, and helpful whenever we need to reschedule our appointments (due to kid illnesses). We are typically able to get an appointment within 1-2 weeks and are always treated with kindness, compassion, and understanding. Dr. Wong is amazing with young kids and patiently answers all of my questions at each visit. He is also so efficient (and thorough!). We are consistently in and out of there within 10 minutes of our original appointment time. The whole staff is so kind and answers all her 100 kid questions about things. They do a great job explaining each instrument and showing Daphne what each thing is for. The clinic itself is spotless, modern, well-organized, and absolutely kid friendly!!! Wow! I am so happy that I found Dr. Wong! I took my son here for his first dental visit. He is 10 months old, so I was really looking for a place that would be where he goes going forward. I'm so happy that I found Overjoyed and that they are nearby. All their great reviews are well deserved. To start, I called in to schedule his appointment. The staff was very friendly and informative. They walked me through the process, what it would cost (I'm currently paying out of pocket) and they sent all the paperwork immediately following the call. I was able to quickly fill it out so that when I arrived there was no wait (great when bringing an infant). On the day of the appointment I was great by friendly faces who immediately checked me in. There was another child (maybe 6) and he was all smiles - that's a good sign. We waited maybe a couple minutes before we were offered a tour of the office. Everything is thoughtfully designed. What a clean and might I even say beautiful dental office. We then went into the examination room and were walked through what his first appointment would be like. I kept the lower half of my baby on my lap and his head rested on a pillow in the doctors lap. He was able to quickly brush and inspect the teeth in the time you would sing your ABCs and that's exactly what he did. After he gave some advice and also mentioned a few things to keep in mind / keep our eye on down the road. Then when checking out, they gave us a tooth brush tooth paste , some stickers and a no cavity certificate (so cute!)
