I absolutely love this dental office. Not only is the office aesthetically beautiful and welcoming, but Dr. Sun is truly exceptional at what she does. My daughter had previously been seeing another dentist, and for years it was difficult getting her to feel comfortable to cooperate during dental visits (yes, years!). During that time, she developed a severe dental infection, so I began searching for a second opinion and that's when we found this office. Dr. Sun and her team was incredibly patient and compassionate while working with my daughter. Although the treatment process was not easy, they took the time to help my daughter feel comfortable and gradually build confidence during her visits. The calm and supportive approach made a huge difference. My daughter still doesn't love dental work (what kid does?), but she is willing to return to see Dr. Sun and her team and I think that says a lot about the trust they built with her. From the moment I called the office to leaving after our appointment, everything was exceptional! My 15 month old son had taken a bad fall and we thought he may have a crack in his tooth from it. I called the office and they were able to accommodate me quickly for an appointment. We walked in, and immediately felt welcomed. There were cute toys for the kids to play with, an area rug where my son could play. The dental assistant called us in and was so kind and explained what the appointment would be like. She took some history, and Dr. Sun did an exam on our son. She is extremely kind, calm, and so gentle. Luckily, the tooth was not loose, cracked or chipped! She did a cleaning, gave us some tips, advice, and follow up care instructions. She was knowledgeable, and put our minds at ease. The office is thoughtfully designed with kids in mind for sure. There is Bluey playing on the screens above the chair (my 3 year old will appreciate this the most), a token vending machine for a prize after the check up, and stickers galore. And not to mention how incredibly clean the office is!! We will be returning to this office for all of our children's dental needs. We made an appointment for my son's follow up care as well as for my 3 year old daughter's routine check ups. We left with a cute goody bag full of dental products. After having very rushed appointments and not getting X-rays for nearly two years, we knew we needed a dentist that could work with her. And how Palm & Poppy delivered!!! Yelp should really let us give 10 stars. If so, this place deserves 12. Our experience for our 2-year old's first dental experience was simply amazing. Everyone from the front desk, to the hygienist, to the dentist was just absolutely stellar. And the overall aesthetic of the clinic was designed so well, it deserves a spot in a West Elm catalog. Front desk: super fun with lots of toys and tablets. Extra points for having Love Bug around. And unlike most pediatric clinics, all the toys were clean and organized. To top it off, there's a mini fridge with fancy Fiji water, Celsius energy drinks, and different juices. The receptionist was very welcoming too. Hygienist: I cannot sing enough praises for Daisy. If Miss Rachel worked at a dental clinic, it would be her. She made our toddler so comfortable with the cleaning, while also being very thorough. Dentist: Dr. Sun was so kind and caring, while being gentle and calm with our little one. She gave great practical advice on how to maintain our kid's teeth. Finally, after the procedure they gave our kid the most fun reward: a coin to use at any of their 4 toy vending machines! What an incredible surprise. The only bad note I would give this place is that they don't service adults. If so, our whole family would come here for all our dental needs. I'm being facetious of course. They offer so many things at the office to make the kids feel comfortable--toys, snacks, a tv screen to watch during the exam. Excellent excellent excellent. We love our new dentist Dr. Sun. The office is bright and cheerful with lots of natural light. Prior to my kiddo's appointment, I was able to have a conversation about my little one's fears about the dentist which was so helpful. Appointment day, my kid had the normal jitters but not the full on screaming bad ones they'd had at our previous dentist. Dr. Sun is kind and compassionate with excellent bedside manner and shes a great listener. She sang to my kid during the check up. I cannot get over how kind the whole office was. Dr. Sun didnt pass judgement when I told her my kid eats a lot of smoothie packets which I KNOW are not good for kids teeth (but if it gets them to eat veggies...) and she didn't blink when I said I was weaning my kid. Our previous stuffy dentist balked at both and threw in some developmental shame as the cherry on top. Keep this place in business! They are nursing mother friendly (if you know, you know what old fart dentists say about breastfeeding and teeth....), shame free, sensory friendly. This is the future of kid's dental, I hope. I took my 1 1/2 year old son for his 1st dentist appointment. I was nervous about how it was going to go. Walking in I felt relieved, their office is so fun and welcoming. The receptionist welcomed us and asked what his favorite show was and put it on tv while we waited. He played with the toys they have available which made things easier! Once called in the hygienist welcomed us into the office, again fun and clean room! She explained how the process was going to go and asked if we had any questions. His cleaning when so smoothly! After, we got to meet Dr. Sun. She is so informative and nice! She did a more thorough look and gave me so many helpful tips! We were gifted with toothpaste, toothbrush, and a rubber ducky.
