Our family has been with these dentists for almost 10 years now. We have no complaints. The office staff are always nice. I've been through several dentists. I became friends with Dr. Janjik Talin, simply because I see her so often with my three kids, and she is so sweet to them. She always asks them how they are doing in school and with life. She has even shared her parenting experiences with me. My eldest had a horrible dental accident, my son was in shock, and we need emergency help. They took us in within an hour. This is when a relationship with a dentist like Dr. Janjik is golden. My son felt safe with her. She was honest with our situation. She provided hope. Then, she sent us forward with Dr. Andy Kang, who helped with the emergency. I had never met him before. We couldn't have felt more safe and secure. After the accident, we had to visit often with Dr. Kang. He went above and beyond for my son. He was so kind, understanding, and helpful. We were very grateful to have such great compassion and help with such a stressful situation. My two other children have had braces, head gear, retainers, and expanders done here with Dr Matthew Moadel. Because we followed his directions, my kids' teeth look great. I have to say that these dentists' jobs are very difficult. Many adults have fear of dental work. Imagine how it is for children and their parents watching over them. I have seen that it can get very frustrating for the dentists. Kids don't wear their retainers, parents let things slide with their kids' brushing and candy, etc. These dentists care A LOT. I can understand how they must get frustrated when they see that kids' dental health is not progressing in a good way. There might be reviews complaining about experiences, but I have to say that this office is the best I've ever seen. Passive aggressive dentist. Dr. Kang displayed passive aggressive behavior toward my 6 year old son. He grew so incredibly frustrated at having to repeat himself a 3rd time because my son was having a hard time understanding if he was holding a mirror or another tool in his hand. There was no mistaking that interaction... 100% passive aggressive. Nearby staff even turned around to look. He didn't stop and think that maybe it's not a listening issue. My son is six and autistic. He was scared. Spare us the reprimands of "not listening" and try showing a little grace. No one should work with children in any capacity if they get so easily upset. This place pushes for a RIDICULOUS amount of volume each day so it feels like you're on a conveyor belt as you move throughout the office. It's chaotic to say the least. I will say every experience that I've had with the ladies who clean teeth prior to the dentist (hygienists/assistants? Not sure of the title) are so incredibly kind. Jasmine took care of my son and was patient, sweet, and explained everything to him. No joke, this woman is a literal angel. They are all amazing. Dr Kang could learn a lot about bedside manner from the staff. Also, expect to be BOMBARDED by calls confirming appointments you already confirmed or notifying you that you're due for an appointment even after you ask them to stop calling. Great Place!! New patient. Came early morning. First off parking was easy, parking lot in the back follow the sign or plenty of street parking. Front desk employee was pleasant and check in process was a quick. The waiting room is decorated in very kid friendly way. They have an aquarium which was def a hit with the kids in the waiting area. Once inside the staff were so friendly with my little one which make the dentist experience nice. Both the X-ray tech and the employee that did the cleaning are awesome with kids. My kids have been with them for quite some time now. For the most part, the wait and experience has been ok. However for the last appointment that my daughter has for her ortho, the experience was not good at all. My daughter had a wire in her braces that needed to be fixed and I called to set up an appointment, as her next regular ortho appointment is still in two weeks. I have informed the person on the phone of this situation and asked if she can just have her appointment along with the fixing of the wire so she does not have to return, and she said she's not sure if that will be doable and we'll find out during her appt: they set up the appt for my daughter. My daughter came with her dad and checked in 10 mins prior to her appointment for 11AM. When I checked with them if she was done with her appt at 1155, she said she hasn't been called at all and she already asked the front desk how long the wait was going to be still and she was told she was next. However she noticed that another patient who came way after her has been called 10 minutes ago. My daughter was not called until 1210. The annoying part was that she went in there, an orthodontist came in assuming she was there for an appointment, but a technician told the orthodontist that she was only there to fix a wire. The ortho then told the assistant to just fix it and left. The "fixing" of the wire took less than 3 minutes and my daughter was discharged and was told to keep her appointment in two weeks. I don't know if this was a result of miscommunication but that was unnecessary for my daughter to wait more than 1 hr for a 3 minute fix, that was not even done by the orthodontist that the front desk said was running behind, hence the wait time. My husband and daughter did not get any apologies or other explanation for the time they spent waiting for a 3 minute appointment and was just discharged and reminded of her next appointment. read more

It was my son's very first dentist visit. My son is in his terrible 2's. My wife and i were expecting an epic tantrum. We walked into the office to find it full of fun distractions for our son. There were fun murals, 2 ipad stations, and an aquarium. My son loved it. We were seen after a short 5-10 min wait. The staff were so fun and knowledgeable. My kid had a cleaning in 10 minutes, NO TANTRUM! My wife and i were amazed. The staff did an excellent job explaining to us about the tools and procedures while making my son comfortable. The front desk patiently assisted us and answered all our questions with care. From x-rays to the check up, everything went smoothly thanks to the well trained staff. All of these good reviews cannot be real. I decided to take my daughter back here after previously having a bad experience a few years back. I'm totally kicking myself and should've known better. The first incident traumatized my kid. She had teeth extracted and spacers put in and though the nurses were kind, the doctor did not try to comfort her in any way but was more concerned with getting her to cooperate and get the procedure over with. Fast forward to yesterday, we need to get those spacers removed as her new teeth are starting to erupt, well one has and is starting to cause pain. The female dentist sits down and begins to assess my 8yo daughter's mouth by feeling her spacers. She pulls and tugs at one and my daughter starts yelling in pain, "Ow that hurts, that hurts, THAT HURTS!" Three times and this woman finally takes her hands out of my daughter's mouth without even acknowledging the pain she had just caused her. My poor girl looks at me and starts bawling. The dentist rolls away in her chair and begins recommending procedures. I'm trying to console my girl and listen to the dentist and when I respond to whatever she was saying with my own suggestion she responded to me with "Well that's what I was saying!" We move on to removing the spacers. My daughter is now worked up (she already had major anxiety/tears just coming into the dentist). The dentist gives her an option on which spacer she'd like removed first. Of course my daughter chooses the one that isn't giving her pain first (the lower priority). As expected, the dentist pulls and tugs and I can see the spacer digging into the gums as she's angling it to wiggle it out. My daughter is shouting and crying in pain and I just feel so helpless as she squeezes my hand. Naturally, my daughter now refuses to get the other spacer out or do the teeth cleaning and begs me to take her home. I'm so glad I listened to her and didn't let that woman rip the other spacer out of her mouth. However, I still have to get this spacer out of her mouth immediately and convince her that all will be ok after yet ANOTHER traumatic experience. The lack of compassion for my baby and the rudeness toward me was absolutely mind-blowing. This place is always crowded and operates like a machine moving kids through with zero attention to how they're feeling. All of the sad faces walking back out into the waiting room should've said it all for me. This is your warning to keep your children out of this establishment if you don't want to cause them pain and traumatize them about the dentist for the rest of their lives. read more

He was able to calm her down and make the experience fun for her, he talked to her through the whole process made sure she was comfortable and he got it done very fast.
